INTRODUCTION
The success of the organisation depends on the efforts of employee when motivated they
contributes to organisational growth. Staff motivation is the enthusiasm; commitment & amount
of creativity which employees bring to organisation on daily basis. The staff motivation is
important in organisation to accomplish task quickly and improves the work quality. Since these
goals are closely tied to how the company is developing, personnel are crucial to the
organization's success in attaining its objectives (Arabshahi, and Hoseini, 2022). In order to
retain talent, it is important that employee motivation programs are in place to increase employee
morale while increasing their retention. The research report discusses the concept of staff
motivation with its impact to retain employees n organisation. in addition, strategies are
determined for enhancing staff motivation.
Background of organisation
The study is being done on the Morrisons founded in 1899 by William Morrison which is
the largest chain of super market in UK. It deals in the product of food and drink, clothing,
books, magazines and many more.

taken into consideration (Bu, 2021). The study focuses on creating internal incentive
programmes to keep bright individuals while raising the organization's productivity. Research is
connected to the growth of numerous skills, including research skills, analytical skills,
communication skills, and many more from a personal perspective. From a professional
standpoint, the research will result in the collection of various pieces of data that researchers can
use in their future work.

motivated employees ate the asset to an organisation which are directly proportional to an
organisation success. the high employee motivation leads to better engagement and productivity
which refers to the level of energy, commitment, persistence and creativity that workers bring in
their jobs.

encouraging the people to work productively and results in better revenues outcomes. The staff

Research philosophy- This helps the researcher in gaining quality information regarding
the research topic which is about phenomenon based on belief. There are two types of research
philosophies positivism and interpretivism. The researcher takes use of positivism in its current
study as it will support in interpreting quantitative data on the research topic in simple & easy
way.
Research approach- It defines the plans and procedures that include the step of data
collection, analysis and interpretation, taking into account the assumptions. Deductive and
inductive are two approaches in which deductive approach is being used that will help in

gather information from different sources & authentic sites (Gupta, and Gupta, 2022).
Data analysis- There are several types of data techniques for evaluating data such as
thematic analysis, frequency distribution etc. the investigator will take use of thematic to get
detailed and correct information from different number of respondents for aims & objectives of
research.
Time horizon- Cross sectional and longitudinal are two methods in time horizon in which
investigator takes use of cross-sectional to collect data in less time and cost so that all activities
can be completed on the time (Staron, 2020).
Sampling- The word sampling describes a group of individuals or things taken for
measurement from a vast population. The investigator will take use of probability sampling in
which 30 employees of Morrison’s are selected through random sampling.
