AI Summary
This report presents a comprehensive analysis of the My Health Record System, focusing on stakeholder identification, a questionnaire, and use case diagrams. The report begins with a stakeholder analysis, identifying key stakeholders such as the government, project team, developers, and end-users (citizens and healthcare professionals), and categorizing them based on their power and interest in the project. A questionnaire designed for healthcare professionals is included, aimed at gathering requirements for the system's implementation, covering aspects like system functionality and data access. Furthermore, the report provides a use case diagram illustrating various use cases such as registration, login, and healthcare information management. Detailed use case descriptions are also provided, elaborating on the steps involved in granting access rights within the system. The report concludes with a reference section that cites the sources used for the analysis.

1 Stakeholder analysis
In any project there are parties directly involved with the project or have an interest in the project.
These parties can be individuals or organizations and they are called stakeholders of the project.
Stakeholders of a project have are involved directly or indirectly with the project during the
development of the project and after deployment of the project. For any project to succeed, an analysis
of the stakeholders is crucial. There are different types of stakeholders and they are determined by two
factors (McDonald, 2017);
Power/ influence to the project
interest to the project.
There are four types of stakeholders for my health record system;
Internal executive stakeholders
External executive stakeholders
Internal operation stakeholders
External operation stakeholders
The following stakeholder map can be used to be used to show the position of each type of stakeholder
on the project

Figure 1: Stakeholder map
According to the stakeholder map shown above my health record has the following stakeholders;
External executive stakeholders- For the My Health record system, the external executive
stakeholders is the commonwealth government of Australia that is launching the project. The
government will launch and fund the project. According to the stakeholder map, the external
executive stakeholders have high power or influence on the project but do not have a lot of
interest on the project (Payne and Watt, 2017). Their power comes from the fact that they are
the funding the project thus they have a say on the executive decisions that are made regarding
the project. The project team should aim to meet the needs of the external executive
stakeholders by engaging them in every step of the project. The project team should also try to
increase their interest level on the project.
Internal executive stakeholders- internal executive stakeholder is the key player and decision
maker in the project. For My Health Record System, the internal executive stakeholder is the
project team that is in charge of making key executive decisions on the project. The project
team does not include the developers but the managers of the project for example the project
manager (Gudavajhala, 2017). They are in charge of making all decisions that affect the path

taken by the project thus determine the overall success or failure of the project. These
stakeholders should be engaged with and consulted very regularly as they can make it easy to
undertake a project or make it extremely hard because they make executive decisions.
Internal operation stakeholders- Internal operation stakeholders are stakeholders who will be
directly involved with the operations of the project. For my Health Record System, these
stakeholders are the developers who will be developing the system. These stakeholders have
little power or influence on the project because they are not involved in making executive or key
decisions regarding the project but their views and inputs are given high consideration s by the
internal executive stakeholders. The internal executive stakeholders consult the internal
operation stakeholders before making most decisions.
External operation stakeholders- External operation stakeholders have the least power or
influence regarding the project. For my health record system, the external operation
stakeholders are the end users of the system who include the citizens of Australia and the
healthcare professionals who will be interacting with the system directly after the project is
complete. They have little or no power in the decision making but they are supposed to be
consulted through use of questionnaires to get their inputs regarding the project. The project
team should aim to increase their interest as they will be the end users of the system.
2 Questionnaire
Use of questionnaires is a method of collecting data by distributing the questionnaires to respondents
and then analyzing their answers to get information from the data. For my health record system, the
stakeholders that will be given a questionnaire is the external executive stakeholders specifically the
healthcare professionals. The reason for choosing the healthcare professionals is that they have deep
knowledge about health care thus they can give a lot of resourceful information that will be helpful
while implementing the application.
