REFELECTION JOURNAL 1
The reflection is based on the organisational culture. The reflection review starts with
the brief overview of this term and its importance in achieving the targets of business of the
company. It is followed up by brief description of my understanding of this term before
research and the understanding attained post research. The reflection review ends with the
decision of the understanding achieved by various learning on the concepts of the
communication and organisational culture (Al Saifi, 2015).
I was not aware about this this term communication and organisational culture. Until I
found this word on internet and got the correct meaning of the same. The communication has
a key role in invention, client relationship, workers administration - fundamentally each
aspect of the operations of business. The open communication channels may create new
concepts and invention in various zones (Scott, et. al, 2018)
I realized at my workplace that people from different working atmosphere would
unanimously agree that proper communication is necessary for any company to be successful.
While working in Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport I found that the main barrier of effective
communication is regarded to be workplace itself. The reason is that arrangement is system in
the manner that separates and retains number of workers detached from others. The specific
level of secrecy is required while at labour, but going to extreme may lead to communication
inadequacies, disaffection, and it may make the unfriendly working atmosphere. The solution
is that there should be two-way communication to provide continuous feedbacks between
senders and receivers while involved in the discussion (Williams, Perillo & Brown, 2015).
As per the insight gained from the research, I would say that body language is the
language without verbal word. It is known as non-verbal communication. I use it at my
workplace and in social life so it is all about gestures and expressions created by individuals
to deliver particular messages to others. As per my learning of this term, effective
communication in offices plays key role in structural growth. Communication is essential in
the lifestyles, professional level, or personal level. In this way, it is required to practice the
art, and this comes with awareness and involvement. I realised that we can well communicate
by direct communication with top-level executives (Laforet, 2016).
