INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is all about exchange of goods and services across the international
platform for generating large amount of profit by satisfying needs of domestic as well foreign
clients. However, various business enterprises are emerging at global platform which resultant
into increase of trade, workforce migration, emergence of international brands, and expansion of
foreign direct investment and maximization of competition. Starbucks is a most successful coffee
chain who is having number of branches across the international boundaries by offering
qualitative products to desired consumers (Ali and Shukran, 2016). In fact, this association have
engaged in various projects throughout the nation in order to generate maximum revenue.
Therefore, this assignment is going to highlight the aims and objectives of large project which is
handled by Starbucks. Along with this, an effective project management plan is also further
outlined in the report for understanding the various factors related with handling of successful
project. Moreover, various methods of data accumulation are further explained from which one
of the appropriate methods will be selected for acquiring some primary information.

Globalisation is an appropriate procedure of communication and integration between
individuals, organizations and governing bodies worldwide. In fact, advancement in
transportation services and creative techniques of interaction aids in promoting globalisation
across the marketplace. Economically, this term means that exchange of goods and services or
export and import of products across the globe for generating large amount of revenue by
satisfying customer needs and demand (Alotaibi and Liu, 2014). In fact, business with foreign
companies is very much beneficial for domestic associations in various manners such as; profit
maximization, emergence of large options for customers, sometime it leads to into political
instability also, enhance the performance of an organization and many more. At the same time,
Starbucks is also expanded their business in various nations and offer their products to domestic
as well as foreign clients in order to maintain long distance relationship with users. As a result,
company is getting succeeded in establishing their positive image at marketplace by satisfying
desires of various societies. Thus, now company wanted to launch more new projects for gaining
competitive advantage at international market by coming up with creative coffee which consist

of totally unique flavourings. For example;couples demand coffee with heart flavourings for
their partners, special coffee on birthday, anniversaries and many more. At the same time it has
been understood that implementation of new project is affected by various internal and external
factors. Due to which it is essential for an organization to design their concise aims and
objectives for assisting employees of company towards set targets (Crane and Matten, 2016).
However, impressive aims and objectives of an is discussed as follows-

Management of project is not an easy task because fluctuation in single factor affects the
success of an organization in various manners. In fact, Starbucks have influenced by changes in
internal and external factors due to which managers of an organization decided to make proper
plans by considering necessary elements (Drucker, 2017). Therefore, planning is a part of project
management strategy because this will help in minimizing the probabilities of risk and mistake
also which might affect the success of project. Basically, a successful assignment covers all the
elements such as; cost, scope, quality, resources, time, communication and risk during

Starbucks have set a time of almost 9-10 months for completing this entire project in perfect
manner. In fact, positive cultural globalisation have a major influence on marketing activities
because world is full of distinct people who are different from each other in various manner.
Quality- Assessment of product quality is really indispensable for the Starbucks because it helps
in providing better services to its customers. As people are becoming more hygienic in terms of
food and beverage so, it becomes prime responsibility of companies to serve products that are
good in terms of taste and health.

Work Breakdown Structure: WBS chart is mostly used by company in order to
organise entire activities in manageable sections so that work can be done in a systematic manner
without much chaos. Therefore, it can be said that a work breakdown structure provides a outline
for a specific project.
Gantt Chart: It is denoted in horizontal bar chart that provides a graphical
representation of schedule so that the process of planning, coordinating and other activities can

Quantitative: It is considered as the systematic methodology of research in which information is

Interpretation: Drinking coffee is what people believe in releasing pressure or taking a
break. Therefore, from the above mentioned pie chart it can be evaluated according to 12
respondents out of 30 which is highest as compared to others and they are saying that in a day
they often have coffee 2-3 times a day and mostly prefer to have coffee of Starbucks. Whereas 8
of them are saying that they shave coffee 4-5 times a day which relaxes their minds. On the other
