AI Summary
This project analyzes the enterprise strategy of STARDUST Insurance Group, focusing on automation, cloud migration, and customer experience improvement. The current architecture faces customer service issues, manual processes, and inefficiencies. The proposed solutions involve automating tasks, moving infrastructure to the cloud for scalability and cost-effectiveness, integrating external APIs (like Google Maps), and enhancing the FASTCLAIM application. The project addresses issues like slow invoice processing, reliance on a middleman, and the need for better customer service by developing applications and automating the claims process. The student also provides a detailed analysis of the auction process, including login, account activation, and the vacation request workflow, identifying the steps and conditions involved in each stage.

STARDUST Insurance Group
Enterprise Strategy
Automate most tasks.
The task of the repair shop sending the receipt using POST is slow and outdated, instead, the repair
shop can email the insurance group or the FASTCLAIM system can implement an API for the repair
shop to post the receipt.
Instead of the insured making calls to the main office or insurance agent, the group can
implement and application to process the insurance claim either through a web portal or android
application
Move to the cloud.
Because of the affordability of cloud services and the many advantages associated with cloud services
it is advisable to set up infrastructure in the cloud. For example database services, integration services,
maintenance, and security.
Use external APIs.
FASTMAP application used to geolocate repair shop according to the proximity of the claimant should
be replaced with the more robust Google Maps with more features and covers the entire globe.
Built on-premises IT infrastructure.
This infrastructure will be used to host the CENTOS Linux that runs the FASTCLAIM application and
MariaDB server by doing so this will cut down the cost of doing business.
Improve Consumer experience.
Because the customer sometimes faces delay in making claim, thus the need for the group to
invest in consumer satisfaction by automating the process of making a claim. This can be done by
developing applications that help the user make a claim.
Problems of the current AS-IS enterprise architecture
1. Customer service issues.
2. The process of validating the claim is manual.
3. Delays in processing invoices from the repair shop due to the manual way of sending the
invoice.
4. Slow process time due to WS02 middleman.
5. The FISTCLAIM application is hosted outside the company.
6. No use to external APIs
7. No cloud services.
Customer service issues.

The customer faces delays when he/she tries to call the insurance office or tries to reach the
insurance agent thus the need for the insurance company to automate this process.
Process of validating the claim.
When one calls the office to make the claim the process is partly manual as the insurance agent is the
one who uses the FASTCLAIM system to validate the claim.
Invoice sent to the Insurance group manually.
The repair shop sends the invoice manually and this causes some delays the best approach is to
send it via email or use the web portal.
FASTCLAIM is hosted outside the company.
The FASTCLAIM application is hosted outside the company, this is not good as the Insurance group
IT specialist doesn't have full to the application only remote connection.
No use of external APIs
The company can switch from the FASTMAP appliaction to google maps which is better and
more robust.
