Starlight children’s foundation is an Australian charity firm which raises charity for the
children of Australia who are ill or sick and are not capable of getting good treatment for the
disease and also to the sick children living in orphanage (Rollins, 2005). They provide find to
those children and get their treatment for free in good hospital. They want to raise fund through
various means and target those people who are capable of giving charity to their organization for
a social cause. The company has decided to communicate its purpose to their target audiences by
means of newsletter. Basically, their target audiences are high end businessmen, social club
members, sports persons, celebrities, and politicians. Thus, these people can provide fund to the
Starlight children’s foundation in order to provide better treatment to the incapable children of
Australia (Starlight Children’s Foundation, 2017). Furthermore, the major purpose of choosing
newsletter as a communication tool for communicating the fund raining program to the target
audience is that people will understand the cause in a clearer manner. Moreover, newsletters are
made in an attractive manner which will develop interest among the target customers (Hovland,
Janis and Kelley, 2010). Furthermore, newsletter will provide detailed information which would
be more definable for the target audiences.
Further, this study has been made for communicating to the target audiences using
newsletter. This write-up will help an organization or individual in identifying the benefits of
newsletter and how they can communicate their updates to the target customers. Moreover, the
study will also aid the reader in making of a newsletter and how it can be made attractive for
developing interest among the potential buyers. This study will also help a reader that how
message can be communicated to their target people in a decorated way so that the business can
grow in an efficient manner (Rollins, 2005). Furthermore, there are numbers of reasons for
which this study will be considered as helpful because it defines the planned distribution method
and promotional activities for newsletter. Further, it also describes the people and resources
identification which could require for producing the newsletter and also outlining of the
development, approval and production process (Hovland, Janis and Kelley, 2010).

Furthermore, this newsletter of Starlight children’s foundation would be distributed to the
target audience by means internet which is the fastest way of communicating and distributing of
any information. Furthermore, it will also be distributed through magazines such as business
magazines, informative magazines, etc. Moreover, promotion of newsletter will be done by the
Starlight children’s foundation company through social media websites, furthermore, they will
also do the promotion on their own websites so that people starts receiving newsletter regarding
every update (Hovland, Janis and Kelley, 2010). Along with that, they will also do promotion of
receiving newsletter through print and digital media advertisements.
The company will require various resources for producing this newsletter and those are
human resources that include IT executives, marketing executives, and designers. Furthermore,
other resources which will require are systems, papers, production machines, marketing tools,
etc. In addition to this, newsletter will be developed by designers using number of information
which would have been collected by executive and also using digital tools and other
requirements. Furthermore, approval will be taken by the CEO of the company and he will
approve the application by reading and agreeing to the terms written in the newsletter (Hovland,
Janis and Kelley, 2010). This is how newsletter of Starlight children’s foundation will be
published in the market for addressing target audience regarding the raise of funds for
underprivileged children.
