Problem Statement/Opportunity
The project is under focus is the initiation of a new start-up company that will mainly
operate through e-commerce market and hence, a website also needs to be developed. The start
up business is customized products like coffee mugs, t-shirts, mobile phone covers and other
items that are currently extremely popular among the young generation. Hence, there is a
significant opportunity to gain a significant share of the market with high quality products,
reasonable pricing and proper marketing among the target group of customers. Online website
further benefits these opportunities as it is much more effective form of business in current times
and it is also easier to promote through popular social media platforms.
Project Summary
The project is for a start-up company that will sell customized products like t-shirts,
coffee mugs, mobile phone covers and others. Since the company will be mainly operated
through online website, there is no immediate requirement to set up a retail store. However, a

warehouse needs to be rented and an office needs to be set up where the main operations will be
performed including processing of orders, sending order to warehouse, allocating work for the
designers and others. In addition, a website needs to be developed through which the customers
can view different items and place orders of their choice (based on the availability of the
products). The initial plan is to execute the development of the website within a time period of 6
months. At the same time, it is expected that the office can be set up and a warehouse can be
rented.
