Purpose of the event
The main purpose and reason behind choosing network event on the State of
Entrepreneurship in the UK is to get the better understanding about the concept of
entrepreneurship and the role played by these entrepreneurial venture in better growth and
development of economy of UK. This event was presented by Agora and is in form of a pop-up
events which is focused on journey of becoming a good entrepreneur. The reason behind
selecting this event over others is that it facilitates better learning of skills and attribute for
better development of career and burliness networking.
Engaged with during the event
During this event based on state of entrepreneurship of UK, I engaged with my friends
and other colleagues to attend various activity and task associated with this networking event.
The main reason behind this interaction and engagement is developing and having better
functional skills and knowledge to become more competent and have better career opportunity.
Use of gamification and contests are also made at the event to make the learning process more
interactive and intersecting. Beside this, at the event about State of Entrepreneurship in the UK
use of live polling and together with virtual event bags are also made to engage leaners in an
effective way.
Personal learning
From the networking event presented by Agora on the state of entrepreneurship in the
UK many functional and entrepreneurial skills are learnt by me. Effective time management
skills are learnt by me that makes me more disciplined and punctual in my work thus, facilitates
timely achievement of my goals and targets for a better future and career. Beside this, Strategic
thinking ability and communication skills are also learnt by me that are necessary to have better
interaction and connection with other people to become more successful in future. The skill of
strategic thinking makes me able to discover new opportunities and better growth plans and also
facilitates better and easy solutions for issues and problems encountered by me in course of my
career development.

What kind of guidance is beneficial for me
As per my perceptive a combination of formal as well as informal guidances is beneficial for
me as it formal guidance helps me to meet my purpose and find a proper solution for my
problems and also make me more disciplined and punctual for my work through
implementation and accomplishment of formal rules and communication channel. An informal
guidance is one which comes in just by the ways life goes and teaches us many lessons through
the way of incidental guidance thus, informal guidance makes me able to achieve and
accomplish my day to day activities in more effective way.

The business mentor help me in many ways to develop my knowledge as I become able to gain
practical experience form them and various network opportunities are also availed by me. A
business mentor also provides encouragement and guidance together with a reassurance to
