1STATEMENT OF INTEREST
The renewable energy is the need of the day with constantly depleting natural resources
and lack of the energy alternatives to meet the daily energy requirement. The Florida Atlantic
University is a great institution working for the renewable energy and resources for the growth
and development of renewable energy.
I am an engineering student, and consider myself qualified enough for the internship in
the renewable energy program of FAU. I have an experience in working for the Department of
Defense as a translator of Arabic. My knowledge of engineering along with the proficiency in
English will help in the development and research of renewable energy options. I am greatly
motivated to work in this sector, as it will help me to explore alternative energy resources for
sustainable environment on earth. I wish to continue my education post my engineering
graduation degree in FAU. I think this internship will help me learn about using my engineering
abilities in the field of renewable energy and the use of sustainable energy. The mixing of the
ideas of the theories and the practices in this internship will help in widening my scope of
knowledge of engineering abilities in this field.
I want to further work and study in the sector of engineering and this internship will help
me understand the different applications of my engineering knowledge other than the
conventional work options. I look forward to this opportunity to fulfill my desire to use my
knowledge for the betterment of the society and humankind.
