STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
I have high degree of interest in health and hospital management. I have been currently
working as senior Clinical Dialysis Technician. When I was younger I used to have strong
intention to work within hospital and public management organization. I also have 12 years
continuous experience within clinical practice and patient care. I have complete knowledge and I
also tend to ensure safety and quality within the health care practice. I also tend to ensure care to
the patients by effectively adhering to the various policies, standards, monitoring and procedures
within the specific budgetary specifications. I have completed my Bachelor Degree in Science
(Chemistry) in the year 2000 -2003 and have also completed Diploma in Dialysis Technology in
the year 2004- 2006.
I have special skills and interest in safety and quality management within the health care
environment. This helps me in performing work with utmost accuracy and standards. I also have
special skills in adequately managing the Haemodialysis program. I also have special skills in
infection prevention and control management. I have been licensed and has done a professional
registration such as Certified Hemodialysis Technologist and I have also carried out a
professional membership in association with National Kidney Foundation. I am highly interested
in the public and health management domain because it tends to provide various set of leadership
and health care policies. This will help me to reimburse various care services to the people in
need.
I have always focused on continuous professional development where I have been
certified in Basic Life support. I have completed certifications in sources associated with Fire
safety, Waste management, major incidents, Hazardous material management and infection
prevention. This helps me in taking necessary action to promote various care practitioners. I have
effective analytical skills which in turn is considered to be very useful in abiding with the current
laws and regulations. I also have effective communication and interpersonal skills which helps
in transmitting necessary information and in turn tends to help in gaining better care results and
outcomes. I am highly detail oriented and in turn tends to focus on scheduling and organizing
various set of information. I have critical thinking capability which helps me in finding various
alternative solutions to the problem at the time of health care practices. I have the capability to
examine the consequences and benefits in order to determine certain set of actions. This is
useful in coordinating various set of activities in a systematic and reliable manner. I have a good

capability to make judgements and decision making which is useful in determining the best
possible solution to the specific problem. I have also developed various set of technical skills in
order to comply with the advanced healthcare technology.
I want to do MSc in Public health and hospital management because I want to equip myself with
the skills and knowledge which in turn is highly required within the public health department. I
want to pursue high degree of knowledge within the health and social care in order to work
within healthcare organization and medical supply corporations. This is a post graduation health
management course. This course will help me determine the basic concepts associated with
public health, healthcare planning, health laws and ethics, epidemiology, medical bioinformatics,
etc. I have intention to complete this course from the university of Melbourne because it is
considered to be one of the most prestigious institute in Australia. This course will help me in
broadening my knowledge and open various career opportunities which in turn is beneficial for
my long term career growth.
My goal is to work as a Heath and safety engineer or healthcare consultant in one of the
best hospitals in Australia. My long term goal is to open my own care unit where I can carry out
my clinical practice and provide the best quality care and services to the patients. I have high
degree of interest in this field since childhood because I like providing care services to the
patients with utmost accuracy and efficiency.
Hence, this will help me in effectively dealing with the various set of health care
perspectives by appropriately dealing with the various perspective of population by effectively
dealing with health and medicines of an individual. Building up my professional knowledge and
practice within this field by carrying out course and participating in various set of knowledge
helps in attainment of higher career growth.
