Statement of purpose
I always want to be the best in everything I do. I have a passion for education as well as
promoting inclusive collective continuous learning for both current and future generations. As
we all know, a good start always marks a good ending. I have a goal to achieve and this is what
keeps me going day in day out.
In school, Social sciences have always been my favorite. Social sciences have seen me
grow into both professionally as well as personally. They made me find out exactly who I am
especially at my time in the Australian Public school. To be more precise social sciences have
really had a great impact on my life in general, for instance, they have helped me understand my
social reality and exactly how I defined my role as a recognized member of a world intrigued
with globalization.
With philosophy being a part of social sciences there are certain ideologies that I have
happened to learn that makes me find meaning through optimistic nihilism so as to contribute
positively to various forms of humanistic continuous learning. Psychology has made me be in a
position to comprehend some really important aspects in life such as influencing the world by
using the knowledge and lessons I learnt each and every day in my life.
I have always had a passion for social sciences and this passion goes deep down my
heart. The main reason why I joined this course in the first place is because I wanted to make a
difference to not only the society I live in but to the rest of the world as well. I have always
believed that one should always be the change they want to see in life or in the society they are
in. Some of the goals that I wanted to achieve while I was joining this course was to learn about
different educational perspectives and various methods of teaching and learning, understand
exactly how young people learn and how they grow and what are some of the issues that they go

through in these two processes, broaden my sociological views and perspective and this would
be best achieved by joining in a Major in sociology or other related courses and finally become a
qualified guiding educator as well as a mentor who would guide young people into doing the
right thing and making the right decisions in matters affecting their lives. I have always noted
that our education system is kind of compromised. It has a number of faults in that some of the
educators lack the necessary basic knowledge, awareness as well as the passion to be in a
position to influence other peoples’ lives and to promote a collective growth to an individual.
In order to achieve my dream and what I have always wanted to be ever since I was a
little child, there are some certain aspects that I truly need to put into considerations so that they
can guide me through in the journey of realizing my dream. First and foremost, as an educator
and mentor, I will always look forward towards enhancing my knowledge and my own
understanding in various educational perspectives so as to learn about how young people grow
and develop. Basically, understanding how young people grow and develop would be one of my
primary objective. This is so because it is the only possible way I would be in a position to make
a difference in their lives. There various methods of teaching the young people, being in a
position to understand the most efficient method of doing so would be my most immediate
priority. I would also make it a purpose that I do not make young people feel lost in their own
lives and in their distinct forms of social reality. Making them see their purpose in life and
exactly what they were meant to be would also be propriety to me because I clearly understand
how it feels like for one to be lost in their own social reality. Finally, I have to be so sensitive
when dealing with young people. They represent the future and should not under any
circumstances whatsoever be put in a position where they doubt themselves and feel lost in
