Introduction
The foremost determination of this report is the development of a Statement of Work
based on the business operations of PHL which is one of the most reputed construction
organizations in Australia.
The development of the SOW can be very much useful for PHL as it can help them to
improve the project related activities. Each of the terms and conditions which are set for the
external stakeholders can be improved to a significant extent using the SOW. The pricing of
the service provided by PHL can be revised and new rates can be incorporated using the new
SOW which will be discussed in this report in a detailed manner (Pei et al. 2018). The
deliverables and the timelines of each of the projects of this organization can be monitored
and managed using this SOW. Thus, it can be said that the transparency of the service
provided by PHL can be improved to a significant extent if this SOW is incorporated in this
organization in an organized manner.
PHL is an Australian construction organization who wants to improve the existing
marketing and customer services. This organization wants to improve the business area using
a new SOW (Porru et al. 2017). The management team of PHL headed by Virna Pashendale
who is currently the CEO of PHL shall be releasing the funds required in this software
development project.
Diverse aspects of software developments in terms of the selection of the software
development procedure like waterfall, agile and scrum will not be discussed in this report.
However, other significant aspects of the project such as maintaining essential resources and
significance acceptance criteria will be discussed in a detailed manner in the later sections of
the paper (Kim et al. 2016). Apart from these discussion, this report will also look forwards
to the milestone of each of the projects. The report will also provide a brief description of the

cost involved in each phase of this software development project (LaToza and Van Der Hoek
2015). The following unit of the report will be discussing the scope of the project in a
detailed manner.
Project Scope
The prime determination of the project is the development of new website which will
be the modified version of the existing version of the website which is being maintained in
the business environment of PHL. The new and modified website will be having additional
sections which was not there in the previous versions of the website. The new website will be
having rich contents which will be very much useful to attract most of the probable
consumers of this industry (Hussein, Nisbet and Clark 2016). Most of the new building
developments will be represented as a graphical representation and pictorial description. The
client testimonial of the new website will be very much useful to attract new business
opportunities for PHL. The recent company updates about both the construction activities as
well as the other social activities will be shown in the new website which will be very much
useful for the diverse categories stakeholders associated with the business in terms of both the
internal and external resources (Santini, Ropke and Hvattum 2018). Each stakeholders
associated with PHL can be significantly benefitted after the deployment of the new and
modified website. The diverse categories of network problems which are being faced by this
organization over a period of time will be resolved in the first place using the modified
website.
The new website will be very much user friendly in nature, both the admins of the
website along with the registered consumers of this website can access the website from any
sort of internet connected mobile devices (Hoda et al. 2017). Communication between the
diverse categories of stakeholders of PHL can also be enhanced after the introduction of this

new website. Thus, the entire customer interaction procedure of PHL can be improved
significantly after the deployment of the modified website.
Requirements
There are diverse categories of requirements which are needed to be followed
throughout the project so that the project is completed within the time schedule.
There are diver categories of activities which has to be monitored in each phase of the
project which will be discussed in a detailed manner in this section.
There are three major phases of this project, each of the phases have diver categories
of activities and a milestone date which marks the end of a particular phase of the project.
Planning phase: Each of the planning details of this project will be conducted in the
planning phase of the project. The planning of the resources required in the project is
calculated in this phase of the project (Raza 2019). The other essential sub activities of this
phase is the identification of time required in each phase of the project. Review of each of the
planning phase is done by the CMO.
Website phase: There are diverse categories of complications associated with each of
the category of the website design phase and understand the needs and expectation of the
consumers of PHL is the most significant one (Corvello, Javernick-Will and Ratta 2017).
Thus requirement gathering is one of the most significant aspect of the design phase. Creation
of the website design is the most significant activity in this phase where the designers play a
huge role.
After the completion of the design phase, the development phase of the project starts
based on the documentation of this project (Sedano, Ralph and Péraire 2017). All the contents

which are provided by PHL are considered by the developers while developing the new
website using a programming language and reliable database.
The completion of the development will be followed by the beta testing procedure, the
quality of services provided by the new modified website (Shanks et al. 2016). Each error
and complexities of the new website can be understood in the first place using the beta testing
procedure.
Implementation phase: The most significant chapter of the enactment phase is the
incorporation of the new website on the PHL server. Providing the training to each of the
associated stakeholders is one of the most significant
The other most significant aspect of the enactment phase is the 24X7 support which
can be beneficial for the consumers to lodge and follow each of the complaints. The admin
panel of the website can follow and address the issues using the 24X7 support.
Providing training according to the training plan is the other significant advantage of
the chapter of the implementation phase of this project. Communication between the
authorities of PHL and the contractors of this project will be very much useful for the
successful completion of this phase of the project
Conversion phase: Detailed documentation will be provided by the contractors to the
PHL authorities in this phase of the project. The project closure report will be given to the
PHL authorities in this phase of the project (Wagner and Ruhe 2018). Daily meetings are
required among each of the stakeholders of this project in this phase of the project in order to
maintain transparency in this project. The following unit of the paper will be discussing the
time required in each phase of the project using a pictorial description.

Acceptance Criteria
Acceptance is one of the most significant criteria regarding the successful completion
of the project. Each stakeholders associated with this project must be informed about each of
the changes required in this project.
CMO of PHL Sennveasna Naveen is responsible for setting the acceptance criteria of
each of the deliverable which will be involved in this project. The role of CMO and the team
of advisors must be monitoring the activities of each of the stakeholders associated with this
project in each phase of the project. Each phase of this project must be starting after getting
the approval from CMO. Approval from the CMO is very much required in order to maintain
the security of each phase of the project.
The website must be aligned with the needs and expectations of the consumers of the
hotel industry. The website must be user friendly in a nature so that both the admin panel and
the member panel of the website (Brhel et al. 2015). The different acceptance criteria along
with the process of acceptance will be discussed in the following table.

As discussed by Abrahamsson et al. (2017), the acceptance criteria is very much
significant to satisfy the business requirements of major commercial organization. The paper
was very much useful to understand that the set of rules which exists on a system can be re-
evaluated using the acceptance criteria (Niazi et al. 2016). The investigator of this paper also
highlighted the positives and negatives of acceptance criteria.
Conclusion
The report will be very much useful to understand the significance of the new
business which can be very much useful for PHL to improve their existing market area and
enhance their customer interaction procedure. The report was also very much useful for PHL
as they can explore new market area using the new website which will be created using the
new website. All the recent news associated with PHL in terms of any kinds of new services
can be reached to each of the clients of this organization can be reviewed using the new
website. The role of each of the stakeholders associated with this project like the project
contractor, CMO of PHL, designers, developers and testers can also be understood in the first
place from this report. Detailed description of each phase of this project in terms of the
planning phase, development phase, implementation phase and conversion phase can be
identified from the detailed descriptions of this report. The report also focussed on the time

required in each phase of the project as the planning phase is scheduled to be completed in 8
days, design phase will require 18 days where as the implementation phase will require 58
days to be completed and the final phase of this project is the conversion phase which would
require 1 day to be completed. The detailed explanation of acceptance criteria can be
concluded from this report as well as it can be very much significant to maintain transparency
about the end product of the project with the deliverable of the project which is discussed in
the documentation part in the earlier stages of project. The various criteria of work, process
of acceptance and authorized personnel for each of the stakeholders of this project.
