Statistical Analysis of DeVry Admissions Data: Course Project

This project provides a comprehensive statistical analysis of DeVry admissions data, utilizing Excel to process, organize, present, and summarize the information. The analysis includes an examination of five key variables: STARTS, APPLICATIONS, TIME, YEARS, and TRAINING. The project delves into measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode) and dispersion (variance, standard deviation, interquartile range), along with five-number summaries, to characterize each variable individually. Graphical representations, such as histograms, bar charts, and scatter plots, are used to visualize data distributions and relationships between variables. The analysis also explores pairings between variables (e.g., APPLICATIONS and STARTS, TRAINING and YEARS, STARTS and TRAINING), examining correlations and trends. The project concludes with interpretations of the findings, drawing conclusions about the relationships between the variables and their implications for DeVry admissions. References from statistical sources are also included.
