Part 1
The two groups can be identified through the network providers for their specific telephone
numbers. This will enhance estimation of the required sample size that would be usable
throughout the survey (Bozionek et al., 2016). A list of data sources includes national network
provider company, list of those who have ever visited or visits the health center and phone
numbers from the public. Some of the advantages and disadvantages of these data sources are as
mentioned below:

Advantages
It is easy to establish the originality of response since the total number of population is known
already
The aspect of reliability and validity is not a major concern, they are guaranteed.
Disadvantages
it could be sometimes hectic and difficult to get the information from the company for security
purposes of personal information.

Advantages
It is easy to determine the individuals who have been visiting or visits the health facility
It will save time for capturing information on demography because it is already in the list of the
health facility (Lune & Berg, 2016).

As much as it will be possible to obtain information it will entail long procedures for the sake of
patient information safety.

Those who have no access to telephone might to be reached to and hence possible biasness.
There could be possible unanswered calls since not everyone positively responds to strange
numbers (Lune & Berg, 2016).
The appropriate sampling method that will suitable is Stratified random sampling. This will call
for sectioning of two different sections of people known to be utilizing the health facility marked
as “facility friendly” and those that do not use the health facility as health facility non- friendly.
To sample with receptiveness to each stratum identified, individuals will be chosen depending on
their phone numbers from the network provider and make an additional from the list of the
public which will only be a few. Exclusion will occur only when there is a mismatch between the
phone numbers and the names provided.
One of the limitation of this approach is that it demands that a population consisting of a full list
should be present. The other limitation is that it must be possible for delineation of possible list
of the population into individual stratum; this means every population component must have a
belonging of one stratum. Finally, because the strata are defined by mutual exclusiveness and

collectiveness, it suggests that it will need sampling several strata from the concerned
population. Consequentially an increase in the overall sample size needed for the research will be
observed (Osentino, Izquierdo & Cabot, 2016). Because of these limitations, there is a possible
coverage and selection bias.
