Usage of statistics in daily life
Statistics is a crucial mathematical component which is used by the professionals around
the world to plan, organize, interpret and finally to present the data. As per Li (2016), these
professionals observe any action for multiple times and then depending upon that repetition, they
present the data that provide a meaningful analysis and information. I used statistical analysis to
calculate accurate dosage of medication for my father and hence, statistical analysis was crucial
for me. Effective usage of fractions, decimals and percentages
One of the most relevant usages that I remember about the usage of fractions, decimals
and percentages in daily life is regarding shopping in malls. Prior to buy products that are on off
or are under discount we conduct calculations of fractions and percentages. Thus calculation
helps to understand the actual price of the product and I would be able to buy that or not.
Therefore, this is the way, fraction, and percentages helped me for shopping.
Usage in medical field
Medical field requires statistics in multiple ways due to which it is so important for the
sustainability and conduction of the process. The range of statistical analysis usage starts from
laboratory works to researches, clinical medicine processes, health promotional activities,
forensic department, national and global healthcare means and epidemiological service (Horton,
2007). This analytical approach helps researchers to collect and interpret data, helps to analyze
the effective of test hypothesis and hence, this process helps researchers to understand the reason
of critical healthcare conditions of the patients. Hence, as per Matthews and Farewell (2015)
