This report is an e-portfolio of statistical and data analysis activities completed for a Public Health course at the University of East London. The portfolio comprises four tasks. Task 1 involves selecting and explaining the use of statistics in public health using four quantitative peer-reviewed articles. Task 4 presents a data description, investigating the effect of coffee consumption on university students' test scores. The analysis includes subsetting the data, descriptive statistics, normality tests, research hypotheses, paired t-tests, and Pearson's correlation to explore the relationship between age and test scores. The findings suggest a significant difference in test scores before and after coffee consumption and a negative correlation between age and test scores. The report references various statistical methods and their application in analyzing public health data.
