1STEVE JOBS
The aim of this case study is to discuss the entrepreneurship of Steve Jobs. For this
particular case study this person is selected as it is not only the business and profit making
goal that bring success of an organization but it needs the vision and passion of the
entrepreneur who can guide the organostions to follow the right path (Niebuhr, Voße &
Brem, 2016). Steve Jobs has international popularity of being the founder of Apple, the most
expensive and proficient mobile phone company of the world. He is the entrepreneurial
legend who started Apple in a garage with Steve Woznaik. The main motivation factor that
had manipulated Jobs was his vision of making the computer technology elegant as well as
consumer friendly (Mallery, 2017). Moreover, he had some innate quality in him that has
made him one of the most important and powerful person in the world. Moreover there were
sources that contributed to his success as an entrepreneurship which include his living in the
south of Palo Alto that later became a center of electronics. Secondly, he took part in the
explorer’s club that encouraged him to demonstrate his own works before the engineers (Bell,
2017). Finally, he got full support from his neighbor who worked in Hewlett Packard, the
most important electronic company at that point of time.
To Jobs, the personal shortcomings might impact the venture which gets enhanced by
the surrounding issues both external as well as internal factors. There are six most essential
capabilities in Steve Jobs which has enabled him to rule the technology universe so easily.
First of all, as mentioned before, he had a vision without which he would not have been able
to take the company in the position which it is today. Simply kicking off the startup cannot
bring success therefore, he always been able to constantly plan for long term. Moreover, Jobs
passion as well as self-confidence to create history in reality was made possible when he
particularly found out the entrepreneurial opportunity his passion of gadgetry (Vari, 2016).
He loved what he was doing and developed a strong passion for the work to find out route to
success in business. There are numerous challenges which can be burden for the business and

challenge the success factors of the entrepreneurs. But Jobs great leadership lesson from the
actual capability of the employees of the company have faced any type of issues that limit the
efficiency of the organization. Another factor that has made Steve Jobs to be the business
magnet as well as inventor of his time, this is aim for perfection. Steve Jobs never
compromised on the perfection. This is reflected in every one of his products also. for
example before launching iPod of Apple, Jobs mandated to get the headphones jacks exactly
replaced properly which shows that he would never settle for less (Becraft, 2016).
The success of this entrepreneur is his aim for success excellence not money. Steve
Jobs had never confined his efforts into the profit making system from his innovative ideas
but he was much focused on the coming up with unique innovative measures which attracted
the customers of Apple (Niebuhr, Voße & Brem, 2016). Rather than focusing on the profit
making ability this entrepreneur had focused on providing High Quality Services as well as
products which essentially helped him to overcome all the competitors within a very limited
time. Finally it can be said that Jobs idea of perfection hand often made him risk taker. he
trusted his own judgment as well as understood what actually is divided by the customers
thus he always move towards the progressive path and the world himself to deal with any
type of challenges to create a successful brand in the world market.
Apple Inc. is the most innovative company in the world that with its products have
created a perfect brand image in the market of the world and attract its loyal customer with
new type of products each time. Innovation and design thinking and creativity has supported
Steve Jobs in every phase of his business growth. According to Jobs there are two things
which are required to build successful business (Dhiman, 2016). One among them is the
passion and another is the people. Through getting support from the employee the
entrepreneur had over come many challenges and brought his creativity in reality.

In Jobs case both success and failure had featured in the journey. There are various
examples where Apple had failed to meet the demand of the Global customers and had to
change the features of the oroduction of the gadgets to capture the Global emerging markets
(Niebuhr, Voße & Brem, 2016). Steve Jobs was the inventor, leader and entrepreneur who
with his idea changed the world in every aspect. He had successfully started The Legacy that
was not only and iconic one but move to the business world with huge technological
advantage. He is innovation successfully had helped the American companies rule the world
of business (Streeter, 2015). He embodied unique spirit of entrepreneurship that turned the
technology based an industry to reach the height of success. Jobs had faced several criticism
referring to his adoption by his father and incapable to manage employees within the
organization but most of these criticisms had not been able to touch the success of this
entrepreneur and he continued his journey to change the world with his innovation and
magnanimity.
Choice of information that I have researched extensively for supporting the case study
are mainly from the Peer reviewed journal biography review and newspaper articles which
mainly focused on the entrepreneurial qualities in Steve Jobs and how his features had made
him one of the most important leaders of the business world. Therefore, it can be concluded
that the entrepreneurship can be successful only when all the internal and external factors are
aligned for keeping the stakeholders motivated. Them only the success of the entrepreneurs
can be seen as in the case of Steve Jobs.
