INTRODUCTION
Project management is the process that apply skills and methods for completing a
selected goals and objectives (Kurniawan and et. al., 2020). It is the process in which a team is
selected for completion of a specified project at a given time period. It is very necessary for
organisation that they should be make sue that their project is properly manage so that they can
attain their project objectives. It is known by every organisation that customers are very
important for success and growth of business. So that's why every companies try to build
customers relation which helps in making customer loyalty. Organisation should make customer
relationship database that helps in analysis of customer relationship programme. It is crucial to
create for organisation. In this context, Stiller is undertaken for the purpose of developing,
launching and evaluating a customer relationship management database. Stiller is the retail
company that produces and selling consumers goods in the market. This report covers project
application and methodologies with the help of project management plan.

Project is the assigned activities that should be perform efficiently at the given time
period so that they outcome of the activities will achieve the objectives (Jørgensen and Åsgård,
2019). It is very important for the organisations that they choose their project and assigned to a
responsible team so that they can achieve their objectives. It is the series task of task that should
be competed by organisation ion time because it helps in achieving success and growth. For
organisation success' customers are the key elements so that's why companies focus on
establishment of customers relationship management database. It is the written document in
which organisation write all informations about customers management programme. Stiller is the
large retailer that should be create their customer relationship management database in an
efficient manner. So that's why this project is based on customers relationship management
database.
Characteristics:
Temporary: Project is temporary in nature because they have certain time period that
means they have particular start and close date. It is the main reason of their temporary nature.
Project is have fixed period of time after that it get completed to attain the objectives. For CRM

database project Stiller need specific time so that they can understand and analyse the data and
then create policies and strategies for building better customer relations.
Unique: Project is always unique because it is not same to the previous project. Every
project has certain objectives and goals that should be achieve (Lukianov, Mazhei and
Gogunskii, 2019). In the same way Stiller choose a project i.e. CRM database. It is very unique
because it helps in analysis of customers relations in the organisation.
Clear requirements and well managed: Stiller needs some requirements to complete
their project such as personal information of customers, programmes and policies that performed
for CRM. It should be well managed if organisation need to complete their task on time because
it has fixed time. If they will not achieve the objectives then it cannot be effectively managed.

management database in the organisation”.
Scope of the project: This project mainly focus on building better relationship with the
customers. It can be done with developing CRM database in the organisation so that they can
evaluate the CRM programmes for making better policies and strategies.
Planning: They also responsible for making a plan that how the task is performed so that
they can reduce the confusions and hurdles in the project (Horning, 2018). With the effective
planning they can easily attain the objectives. In simple words, project manager can able to attain
the objective of CRM database. It includes resources, budget, scope and time-frame.

Execution: After the planning, project manager should execute the plan in a way that
they thought. It should be execute in an effective way so that they can achieve their goals and
objectives et for this project.
Monitoring: Execution is not the end of the role of project manager as they are
responsible for controlling managing task during the performance of task. It helpful in finding

2017). For this purpose Stiller adopts some methodologies and framework which make the
project manageable. There are some methodologies are mentioned below:
Waterfall methodologies: It is the important frame work in which traditional project
management approach is applied with software development. Waterfall methodology is the
software development methodology which refer to the project management approaches that are
begin with stages or phases. Each phase is depend on the previous one. There are seven phase in
waterfall methodologies that are mentioned below: Requirements: It is the first stage in which Stiller need to fulfil the requirements of CRM
database so that in future project team members could not face any problems in the
respect of performance. It is very important for the project manger that they make ensure
the availability of all things which are required in the future. Design: It is the stage in which project manger effectively produce a solution after the
analysis of requirements in the previous phase. It is crucial stage for the software

With the help of design it can be achieve the objectives and goals.

 Implementation: After the designing of software for CRM database now it is the time for
execution or implementation of design structure for CRM database (Errida and Lotfi,

can achieve their gaols and objectives. Designing contains two phases that are logical and
physical. Logical is refers to the stage of brainstorming in which project manager think

cost. It is very effective method for project management as it helps in removing the waste things

effectively implement only when the project manger focus on reduction of cost so that they can

to maintain the sale and generate profits. This methodology helpful in accomplishment of project

with the application of important methodologies. With the help of methodologies and framework
project can be easily complete (Ng, 2018). It is clearly shown from the above project that Stiller
achieve their project objectives i.e. CRM database. They build a better CRM database which
helps Stiller to formulate policies and strategies for building a better relationship with the
customers. It is very important for the organisation that they produce a project management plan
so that they can effectively implement their plan in respect of achievement of goals and
objectives. CRM database is good to build in the organisation as it assist in collection and
analysis of data of their important clients.

It is concluded from the study of project management that it is the essential activity in
which organisation can effectively implement the design projects in order to achieve the
objectives. It is very important for the organisation that they should be apply in the organisation.
