Executive Summary
Purpose: The main aim of the report is to take proper steps that would help in the
eradication of the innovation-based illiteracy within the country of Australia. The report majorly
attempts to shed light on the ways in which the activities of StoryBoard might help in the
development of the literacy through innovation within the areas of New South Wales. The report
further aims at the discussion on the ways in which the children of the area might be encouraged
to take part active part in gaining education.
Problem/situation: The major problem that is discussed within the given scenario refers to
the conditions within the country wherein the children of the country have not been
demonstrating the enthusiasm to gain education through the innovative means. StoryBoard aims
at discussing the ways in which the children might be encouraged to deal with the innovative
ways in which they might gain education on the matters that pertain to the realms of literature.
Addressal of issues: The issues were addressed through the visits to the various schools
and other educational institutions that dealt with the children. The team of StoryBoard involved
an author and a single of a couple of tutors who would work alongside the author in making
attempts to encourage the creativity within the children who have been enrolled at the various
schools. This also led to the creation of the relaxed environment for the students which helped
them to engage in their own creativity.
Outcomes: The students accepted the program in a very proper manner and also provided
the positive feedbacks towards the program. The students had thoroughly enjoyed the workshops
and had revealed their literary talents through the workshops that were conducted by StoryBoard.
The participants revealed the fact that the most enjoyable and attractive part of the activity was
the fact that they were not forced to write on a given topic but were allowed to write about any
experience that they had found to be worthy of composing or relaying to others. The students
were further happy to attend the event due to the non-judgmental nature of the program. The
program did not judge the students on their written works but encouraged them to compose and
retell their stories to the world.
Recommendations: The organization might be advised to conduct these workshops on a
larger scale and involve a larger number of participants. The report discussed the success rates of

StoryBoard for the second consecutive time and highlighted the major factors that had led to the
success of the event. The sponsors of the event and the people who have been involved in the
project might be advised to take care of the issues that are related to the development of the
literary activities that are undertaken by the children. The schools might also be advised to
conduct these sessions in order to help the children find an encouragement in the development of
their literary skills through the implementation of the free writing exercises that would develop
their creative skills.
