INTRODUTION
Business Intelligence could be described as the technology driven process which is used
for delivering important information and analysing the data for helping the managers, executives
and the employees for making informed decisions that will help in the growth and success of the
business. In the process of BI data is generally collected from the internal IT system of the
organisation and external sources for making analysis, running queries creating data and
information visualisation and reports for providing the results to decision makers of the business
for decision making.

The report discusses about the strategic analysis and the impact of strategic business
intelligence on the organisation. The review of the article has helped in evaluating the business
intelligence assists the companies in deriving or getting essential information for making more
accurate and reliable decisions for the business. A company has different tools for knowledge
management which are used efficiently for decision making. Presently they have used the tools
such as IT desk, Webinar, E-Buddy and E-Library for the purpose of KM. The above tools help
and guides employees to gain essential and related knowledge as well the solution to various
issues faced by the employees in performance of their tasks (Fourati-Jamoussi and Niamba,
2016). E-referral program has been proved very useful for the business in attracting the new
talent for company. This is also evaluated that using E-Buddy firm has been able to make
effective recruitments. In this way it could be evaluated from making use of the different tools of
business intelligence, companies get strong support in assistance about the ways to grow and to
set goals and objectives for their organisation.

Primary purpose of this article is Realising strategic impact of the business intelligence
utilisation. In the present era of technological advancement it is essential for the business that to
enhance the efficiency of workers and better information and knowledge the business
intelligence are required to be provided to the employees. Organisation could use the different BI

DESIGN/ APPROACH /METHODOLOGY
The article presents systematic review of concepts relating to the use of the business
intelligence. The article has qualitative method with motive of gaining more deeper insight and
knowledge about the concepts of BI and its impact over the business efficiency. This could be
assessed from the article that information is gathered from secondary data sources. The data
presented in the article relates to published journals and online sources.
FINDINGS
The article provides about case which was related to IT consultancy firm that was
engaged in providing IT related services around the globe. It is evaluated from the case that BI
department of the firm was completely involved in giving guidance to the consumers about
efficiently using their business data for understanding their consumer trend so that services
required by them could be given properly (Reddy, Sangam and Rao, 2019). The BI also helped
the company in getting competitive advantage over and due to this firm has grown strongly
making effective use of the different BI. Company was incorporated in the 1977 and was
headquartered in the Singapore. The subsidiaries of company are in India and Malaysia. At the
initial stage it could be assessed that the company decides of making use of different initiatives
with the more effective techniques and tools for improving the corporate performance of the
company. In this key focus is given over the working of the employees and assesses their
behaviours and patterns while working. After the proper assessment of the working practices
company implemented different tools of KM and also used the organisational knowledge through
extraction of the data for achieving the competitive advantage and to achieve its goals and
objectives. It is identified that company has used 9 different tools for BI and the knowledge.
Company has implemented the fundamental of 360 degree of knowledge, internal
process, finance and the consumer growth. It had used the Webinar for sharing the real time and
effective useful information among the employees over web. It has helped company is assessing
the problems that employees were facing and based on it corrective measures were taken. It acted
as an effective tool for gathering knowledge and for diffusion. It also implemented the new E-
learning system for its employees where they were involved in enhancing their knowledge and
learning through the online mode (Vargas and et.al., 2016). Through the use this learning system
more effective training was provided online to employees for enhancing their knowledge and
capabilities. Other tool used by the company was E-Buddy where the workers are associated

be taken after measuring the performance. The tool has helped to achieve strategic objectives. BI
is also used by the firm for getting feedback over current performance for undertaking corrective
measures for improvements. Using this approach the company has identified different loopholes
in the process and which will be fixed by taking actions for increasing the efficiency and
performance.
