The respective paper is a strategic communication plan about the career which I am pursuing
and the profession where I am enrolled in. In the respective paper, I have disclosed the strategies
and approaches I am going to take in order to carry out my professional duty and responsibility
properly and accurately. In the paper I have focused on the skills and competencies that I have to
enhance and grow dexterity in for the sake of the profession where I have enrolled in and/or I
belong to.
1. Description
As a postgraduate management student, I have been very keen to take up the profession of a
human resource manager of certain reputed information technology companies as well as social
start-up enterprises. After I completed my post graduation in management, I enrolled in an online
course of human resource management which was deemed under the same university from where
I completed the post graduation. The course of human resource management has helped me
immensely in developing my aptitude regarding micro as well as macro management in the
context of undertaking small as well as large organizations. After completing the course, I
received a job opportunity in a reputed event management company. I have been enthusiastic
towards the new job opportunity which I have received and look forward to enhance my
professional capabilities through the respective professional designation.
2. Goal
To be one of the best project management leader and prove myself to be a competent employee
or an expert in the respective field, I would hereby produce a strategy which would enhance me
professionally in a holistic manner. I have taken up GROW model of goal setting and execution
regarding my profession that is hereby discussed.

G- Goal: The actual and original goal I am supposed to be pursuing, which is becoming a
successful human resource manager in the respective company where I have been hired. The
original goal of mine is being a successful human resource manager with proper and accurate
skills and leadership capabilities.
R- Reality: It signifies where I am standing in reality in my professional arena. I am a pass out of
the online course of human resource management and since I do not have any pragmatic
experience, I am considering myself as a novice and a learner. I have been eager to have not just
theoretical but practical session of my learning outcomes in the course.
O- Obstacles and Options: It signifies the obstacles I can face while I am pursing my profession
and options signify what are the opportunities and chances I am going to get throughout my
professional life. In this case, obstacles such as interpersonal communication barriers can be
witnessed by me in my profession and options such as usage of my core competencies in areas
such as technology and leadership which can enhance my designation in the company can also
be witnessed by me.
W- Way Forward: The plans and schemes that would be undertaken by me should be initiated,
executed and acted upon in order to materialize and actualize the goal. Prompt as well as planned
actions are needed in order to meet the goals.
3. Audience
In the path of achieving my goal, I will be in a dire need to interact with the professionals and
others associated with me in the organization directly as well as indirectly. They are discussed
hereafter.

The subordinates: The subordinates who would be working under my supervision and control
would be eligible to influence me directly as well as indirectly. However, it would be my
responsibility and accountability of their performance of their work as I would be the leader as
well as the pathfinder and guide of the subordinates during the time of operations. The
interpersonal relationship which is both verbal as well as non verbal can be implemented by me
in the team to the subordinates in order to communicate them with clear instructions about what
is expected from them and what not.
Colleagues: The colleagues are an essential part of an individual’s profession. Colleagues can
help each other in different ways through multidimensional approach. I can make an amicable
interpersonal communication with the colleagues, both verbally as well as in written form, with
the help of e-mail and Chat Rooms in order to enhance myself professionally in the company.
4. Key Message and Action Request
I consider myself to be adequately applicable for the post as a human resource manager in the
respective event management company I have been hired. The strength of my personality lies
behind the fact that I am able to communicate effectively with my peers, subordinates and the
supervisors. Therefore, I believe that in the respective job, I would be able to communicate
effectively and efficiently that would enhance my position in the company. Through informal as
well as formal written, verbal and non verbal communication with the help of emails,
newsletters, meetings and conferences, I would be able to carry out my duty diligently.

and the administrative team of the company. With the help of the outstandingly positive
feedback that I received from them, I have been able to motivate myself more in order to provide
my best in my profession.
