Framework 1: Opposing Forces
Purpose:
The opposing forces refers to the dynamic approach of problem
solving in a response to the disadvantages and advantages that
helps in managing the pros and cons of strategy thereby resulting in
maximization of value of an organization(Jaggars and Hodara 2013).
Advantages: : It lead s to the surfacing of the errors in relation to
strategy since managers remain forced in seeking out to forces that
possessed the possible means of creating opposition towards a
strategic proposition
.
Disadvantages: The opposing forces allowed higher rate of
employee participation in decision making. Although it seemed a
better way but it resulted in changes of the power relations amongst
the staff and management

Framework 2: Managing Forces
Purpose:
The key aim of the managing forces lies in ensuring the managers to
adopt these forces into the aspect of strategy making. Besides, it also
provides guidance on the management of these forces
Advantages:
Helps in setting new strategic vision through the eleven forces that
include opposing forces, perception and politics, time, holistic effect
and the addition of the incentives, values, opportunity cost,
learning, risk and style.
Disadvantages:
The framework is not able to accurately determine the time scale,
vision of power struggles with the firm, inability in efficiently
determining the vision for adding value to firm, incapable of
deciding the visions for the feasible alternatives to raise profits ,
uncertainity in association of adequate compensation

Framework 3: Perceived Differential Value
Purpose:
Perceived Differential Value provides an insight on the manner in which
a firm adds value to customers in comparison to its competitors. Thus it
helps in directing thoughts of management towards reasons for
customer preference regarding the products (Yu et al. 2013).
Advantages:
This particular framework considers time as crucial factor for the
creation of strength. For example, a company with bad reputation can
only change it into a better one via differential values only with passage
of time
Disadvantages:
The framework hinders efficiency of working in a firm via politics,
creates inability of the management in understanding perceptions of the
stakeholders and ineffectiveness in decision making related to
reduction of staff as well as cost thereby resulting in hampering the
profitability and productivity of a firm.
