Running head: STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
Question 1
Strategic leadership is about the manager’s capability to express a strategic vision for the
organization or the company for which he works. The faith that I have in Christianity helps to
have to vision for the organization in which I work and implement my plans accordingly. The
vison helps to encourage and persuade others for obtaining that vision for the organization and
even work accordingly. (Schoemaker, Krupp & Howland, 2013). Additionally, it can also be
defined as the utilizing strategy for the purpose of managing of the employees. It is also
considered as the capability to affect the members of the organization as well as to implement the
change in the organization (Carter & Greer, 2013). The leaders who possess such leadership
quality tends to create the structure which is very much organizational. They tend to assign
resources and even express various visions which are strategic in nature. According to the
Christina belief one must totally give up on themselves and follow their belief and this will
ultimatrely bring good results. Similarly, when the vision is being followed, with the hope that it
will be bringing good results, itr ulti ately will be bring success for the organization. On the
other hand, it can be stated that the strategic leaders work in a very uncertain environment which
is combined with different issues of difficulty which are generally influenced by the organization
and even by the organization’s which are externally linked to their own organizations. The main
purpose of strategic leadership is to have great productivity. However, it can be noted that
another factor of strategic leadership is to create an environment in which the employees
working in the environment will understand the needs, goals and aims of the organization so that
the employees can follow their own ideas and execute them which will result in the better
performance of the company or the organization (Aarons, Ehrhart & Farahnak, 2014). The belief

of the belief that I tend to have on the others that the employees tends to participate in the events
of the organizations and give their own inpurts as well. If the employees are not given the chance
to execute their own ideas, then they will never have any attachment with the organization and
will therefore not give their best performance. It is under the guidance of the strategic leader that
the employees under the organization make their own ideas and even executes them which leads
to the better performance of the company or the organization (Hooijberg & Lane, 2015).By
giving the employees awards like incentives and rewards for the purpose of motivating those
leads to the better performance of the employees. No leadership is effective if it cannot enhance
the work of the employees (Rahman, 2018). Therefore, the functional strategic leadership should
also include the incentives, perception and the plan for the purpose of backing an individual so
that he or she realizes the goals and objectives of the organization and work accordingly.
Though my personal faith in the Christian beliefs helps to have to be good strategic
leader and work accordingly to gain more success for the company or the organization, there are
certain characteristics, values or nature helps me to implement my strategic vision for the
organization. Loyalty is one of the most important characteristics that tend to lie in the strategic
leader of an organization. If the leader is not loyal to the organization for which he or she works
for, then the leader will never be able to set strategic goals of the organization. Therefore, the
sense of loyalty that I tend to have towards work helps to make a vision for the organization in
which I work and implement strategies accordingly. The strategic leaders are always very much
motivated. The zeal that I tend to have towards work also helps me to develop as a strategic
leader and achieve the goals of the organization. Being very social and friendly also helps me to
be a successful strategic leader. The reliable nature of mine also helps in being a strategic leader

as it is through my reliable nature, I am able to express my vision until and unless it becomes a
significant part of the culture of the organization.
Question 2
Religious faith tends to play a very significant role in the organization. The religious faith
acts as the backbone of different kinds of values, morals and the ethics that an individual tends t
possess. It can also be said that religious faith acts as a guide to the different kinds of personal as
well as spiritual beliefs. Therefore the leaders tend to impose their religious beliefs while
implementing their styles of leadership. In certain organizations, the religious faith is being
utilized for the purpose of avoiding responsibility which is both individual as well collective. on
not able to perform or not able to fulfil the responsibilities, it is noted that the gods or things that
are related to the religion are being invoked. For example terms like “gods will”, “with the help
of God” are being utilized. On the other hand, it can be noted that religious faith also creates a
social unity within the organization which helps in maintaining social solidarity through the
beliefs and the morals which are being shared (Tracey, Phillips & Lounsbury, 2014). Religious
fait8h also helps in obtaining meaning and purpose for various sorts of answers that are needed
