Major reasons for the need to recycle clothes
Avoiding energy and pollution – In creating new clothes the consumption of energy is
very high, which include both natural resources and renewable resource energy, while the
recycling process would be responsible for very low energy consumption. Moreover, the
clothes are highly responsible for water and land pollution for using chemicals and
organics, which are disposed off either in water by the industries of land which pollution.
Therefore, to avoid pollution and every, it is essential to recycle clothing.
Decompose – Clothes consist of various material like synthetic clothes take thousands of
year to decompose, and it seems to be beneficial to use the products again that is recycle
the product and reuse it to avoid the decomposition issue.
Greenhouse gas emission – As discussed in the last point that these products are not
decomposed easily, the decomposition process for such products are responsible for
greenhouse emission. The more fresh clothes are being prepared and thrown away the
more greenhouse gas emission would be harming the environment. This could be one of
the major reasons for recycling clothes for protecting the environment and society from
greenhouse gas emission (firstcarbonsolutions, 2018).
Economic benefits in developing nation – Other than the environmental protection, the
recycling of the clothes could be an opportunity for various vendors to earn money out of
