Strategic management is the base of a successful business. In addition, there are many
good things in a business, which is helpful in the growth and success. In addition, leadership
is a good skill to manage different functions of a business. Moreover, leadership makes a
huge impact on the growth of a firm as well as a person in their professional development.
The social world is common for all of us. Thus, it is necessary to develop leadership and
other skills to manage changes in social actions. Besides, decision-making is better using
leadership and strategic management. It can improve the performance of a person in their
social and professional life. According to conceptual frameworks, a person should analyze
their strengths and weaknesses (Bolden, 2016).
A leader can use proper critical theory and analysis to manage different types of
issues. In addition, the decision-making process will be better, which is a good thing for a
person. There are many changes in performance and many other things. Most of the people
have followed a basic characteristic of leadership, which are steady, dominant, compliant,
and influential. These qualities make a huge impact on the performance of a leader. An
efficient leader has used all these skills (Bolman & Deal, 1991).
I learned that leadership is a basic skill, which should be developed in a person for the
decision-making process. It will improve working as well. A good leader works on their skills
using self-awareness and other activities. I learned that a leader makes their knowledge from
various experiences and learning processes. Moreover, there are many benefits of leadership,
which makes a huge impact on understanding and other processes. A leader should be honest
and transparent in their works. It makes a huge impact on various processes. It is a reason that
leadership is used for managing all the things (Clapp-Smith, Vogelgesang, & Avey, 2009).
Leadership skills make a person innovator, which is a good thing for personal and
professional development. I learned that a leader can develop new skills in them, such as
patience, motivation, self-awareness, and patience. Besides, reflection is necessary to learn
from various processes. In addition, there are some basic skills, which are the base of the
leadership, such as trust, learning, and many more. Self-analysis is a basic process that can
improve many skills in a person. I learned that many giant firms are famous and popular in
the world because of their leaders and managers, such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, and
many others (Danielson, 2011).

Leadership can be managed internal and external functions of various businesses of an
organization, which is good for the company and its employees. A leader can improve the
performance and productivity of their employees. There are many innovative ideas created
because of leadership (Day, Fleenor, Atwater, Sturm, & McKee, 2014). I learned about the
different types of leadership, such as authentic, servant, transformational, and many others.
In addition, positive leadership is helpful in the improvement of the performance of
employees. In addition, the software industry has succeeded because of its leaders and
managers. A leader has created a good culture and environment in the workplace, which is
necessary for many processes. In addition, Leadership can be used to motivate all the
employee for their performance and productivity (Dubey, 2018).
I learned about the various benefits of leadership in professional career and personal
life. In addition, a leader can resist change in an organization, which is a good way to handle
different types of things. Change is necessary for an organization to develop new
opportunities in the market places (Gilley, Dixon, & Gilley, 2008). Moreover, people can
change their behavior and skills using leadership and management skills. A person can
include basic skills in them to survive in the market. In addition, most of the persons are
successful in industry because of their skills, such as leadership, patience, motivation,
honesty, and others (Grossberg, 2016).
Furthermore, leadership can improve knowledge and emotional intelligence in a
person, which is a basic need for a business. Innovative innovations are necessary to manage
business and personal life as well. In addition, a leader can improve and develop new skills in
their follows. Most of the people improve their skills because of their needs and changes in
the workplace (Grossberg, 2016).
Moreover, leadership can be a part of strategic management in an organization. Many
critical situations can be solved using leadership. Crisis management can be used for
managing all the things. Many processes can be managed using leadership and many others. I
learned that being a leader I can improve my skills, which is good for my professional career
(Hoch, Bommer, & Dulebohn, 2016). In addition, leadership can be beneficial for the
organization as well as employees. Many industries hire good leaders for managing all the
processes of their firm. I learned about the design thinking process, which is a good way to
develop new skills. Creativity is necessary for managing the business problems of a firm
(Müller, 2010).

There is a huge impact on leadership in all professions including the software industry. I
learned about the management of teams and their members. However, leadership provides
better outcomes, which has related to a particular person or firm. As a project leader, I have
faced many challenges in my works. Besides, my leadership skill has used to manage conflict
and resistance of my team members, which was related to their performance and productivity
(Nixon, Harrington, & Parker, 2012).
Leadership can be used for solving various critical conditions in the software industry.
Moreover, changes can be possible using good leadership skills in a person. Moreover, there
are many changes in the technologies and working processes, which can be managed using
different processes. Leadership will improve the basic processes of a firm, as a leader is
always innovative and creative. They can use their skills to reduce all the things (Michaelis,
Stegmaier, & Sonntag, 2009). A leader is always focused on the well-being of their followers,
which is necessary for managing all the things. In addition, well-being is the first concern of a
leader, which is a positive attitude towards employees (Kelloway, Weigand, McKee, & Das,
2013). Many leaders have saved their firms at the time of crisis in the market, which is a good
process (Liu, 2015). A human being can work with their physical health. Thus, it is necessary
to balance physical activities to stay strong always. A leader is always managing their
physical processes.
I learned that leadership helps me to develop of other skills, which are necessary for
my professional development. In addition, I have enjoyed all the sessions in that workshop.
Moreover, I have developed some new skills in me after that workshop, which are beneficial
for my personal and professional career development, such as patience, focus, reflection,
learning, teamwork, and many more. Finally, it was good practice for a person to develop
new and creative ideas for solving different types of problems in daily and professional life. It
can be used for solving critical processes (Liu, 2015).
Furthermore, a software engineer always a good leaner, as this field is changing in
less time, which is a reason behind learning. I have used blogs for reflection, which are
helpful and beneficial for the progress of my professional development. Moreover, it is
helpful in problem-solving as well. I have taken many decisions based on my blogs and
learning. In addition, teamwork is a necessary skill in their industry.
