QIP Holder LLC or Quiznos is a fast food franchise based restaurant which operates
in Denver Colorado. The organization mainly offers various products which include,
toasted submarine based sandwiches. Quiznos was established in the year 1981 by Jimmy
Lambados. Further the restaurant was sold to Richard Schaden and Rick Schaden after 10
years of operations in the country. The fast food chain has been able to develop around
1500 stores in the domestic locations and the 600 stores in the international locations
(Quiznos.com 2018).
a. Identify your company and brief introduction
i. Product information – The products that are offered to the customers
mainly include, different types of sandwiches. The fast food chain also
offers many premium products for different customer types.
ii. Target Market – The major target market of Quiznos in the country
include, the people who belong to the younger age group. The products
of the company are able to attract these young consumers easily (Doz
2017).
iii. Market trends – The fast food based industry of USA is able to
generate high rates of revenues and the levels of competition in the
market are also quite high.
iv. Competitive advantages – Quiznos has been able to gain an advantage
over the competitors in the market with the help of different premium
products which can be offered to different types of consumers (Ethiraj,

i. Strengths – The organization introduces many different items in the
menu for the consumers. Quiznos sub sandwiches has its operations

products is also considered to be a major strength of the company.
The advertising and promotional activities are also provided with
huge levels of importance.
ii. Weaknesses Quiznos has been struggling based on different
financial and legal issues. Quiznos does not have a menu which can

and services. The restructuring based activities of the company has
caused huge number of issues (Hill, Jones and Schilling 2014).
iii. Opportunities – The organization has the opportunity of increasing
its presence in the Asian market by expanding its operations
effectively. The rise which has been experienced in the health
consciousness of the consumers is considered to be an important
opportunity for Quiznos. Quiznos can also introduce many
innovative items on their menu in order to attract a larger group of
consumers towards the organization (Hill, Jones and Schilling 2014).
iv. Threats – The highly competitive fast food industry provides major
threats to the operations and profitability of Quiznos in the market.
The rise which has been seen in the costs based on operations can
