The aim of this report is to analyse to case studies and a micro-credentials. In this report,
two case studies will be analysed which are ‘Sir Richard Branson: managing groups and teams at
Virgin’ and ‘Planning and strategic management at Coca-Cola’. The way Sir Richard Branson
manages the group of team of Virgin will be discussed in this report. The way the authority of
Coca-Cola develops its strategic plan will be discussed in this report. Emotional intelligence as a
micro-credential will be analysed in this report. To enhance the popularity of a LinkedIn profile
will be analysed in this report.

Teamwork is essential for a business organisation to utilise opportunities and manage
challenges. In the 1970s the virgin group was established by Sir Richard Charles Nicholas
Branson, a British businessman. Several companies in different fields are controlled by the
Virgin group. By analysing the case study it will be easy to understand several types of teams
and its rules to enhance the effectiveness of a business organisation. For this organisation, every
team plays a significant role. The Virgin Group of Companies controls several small and large
groups who have the responsibility to act within their companies (Kinicki 2015). The senior team
of this organisation includes the CEO's, executive and senior managers, associated with the
business. To increase the brand value and make decisions about capital Investments, this senior
team of the Virgin Group of Companies plays an important role. Another important team of this
organisation is the ‘work teams'. To accomplish specific objectives of this business organisation
the walk teams has to ensure collective working (Kinicki 2015). This team has a responsibility to
enhance the efficiency of the team and a high level of communication between the teams.

Jones and Schilling 2014). For the environment scanning part, this organisation conducts an in-
depth analysis of the present business environment before launching its business. Before
launching its business a business organisation analyse the internal and external influences. It is
essential to examine the internal and external factor before developing a strategic plan. As this
organisation does its business at the international level that is the reason this organisation
evaluates that tax policies, environment-related rules and regulations, the economic condition of
our country, political stability, technological infrastructure, and employment laws modified (Hill,
Jones and Schilling 2014). This internal and external factors can affect the business of the Coca-
Cola Company. For the strategy formulation part, this organisation uses the most suitable
strategy which can fulfil the business objectives and purpose of the Coca-Cola Company. Based
