As the Operation Manager of the Pro-Go Pty Ltd which is a privately owned
manufacturer which contains small and high-quality action cameras located in
Geelong, Victoria, Australia which is found in 2004. It has the continuous growth
year by year till last financial year. This company tracks the record of innovation
and technology which provide the great quality in a small size which will be able
to operate with small batteries for extended time. With superior video quality
and effective operations in low light conditions stood best among the
competitors. Technology used by the Pro-Go company are now not available for
any other manufacturers. This type of ability to capture videos is one of the
features in the mobile phones which suggests the future of the stand-alone
camera may be limited. China is the largest company customer which large
retain chain through the company. The aim of this paper is to outline the
responsibilities of the Operation Manager in the Pro-Go Pty Ltd.
As an Operation Manager, my roles are to monitor day-to-day activities of
the organization like Hiring procedures, focusing on the establishment of the
training standards and negotiation of the vendor contacts, performance
metrices, development strategies for improvement in efficiency of the work
procedures. Operation Manager may also sometimes interview, and train new
and existing staff based on the work streamlines (university, 2019). The
Strategies of any organization are Cost Reduction, the efforts in achieving the
competitive advantages, Innovation creation and Marketing Campaign in social
media and sponsors. The Operations Manager will focus on these tasks to be
completed to deliver the goods and services for cheap, better acknowledgment.
The three concepts on which OM can make best decisions in seven functional
areas of Operations Management are called as Operation decisions (Class, 2017).
The planning process which is the market segment and implementation of the
histograms that can allow Oms to gain a deep understanding of the competitive
outcomes (Cigolini, 2006). The aspects of the OM which have principal functions
like Manufacture: define the Goods to be given, requested or accepted,
Transport: Movement to be given, requested or accepted, supply, Service:
treatment of the given, requested or acceptable (India, 2016). The role of the
