Topic- Pick a company within Canada and create a proposal for choosing the company to
complete a strategic management project.
The company in Canada which has been selected for the proposal is Tile Shoppe (Jukić,
2019). The company deals in various types of tile products which is available to the
customers at affordable prices. The main competitive advantage of the company is a higher
level of customer satisfaction. They strive to provide exceptional services which through their
products and services.
The core values and operations of the company inspire me to undertake and complete a
strategic management product. Through this project, I aim to add value in the following
areas.
Customer engagement- Through the proposed project of strategic management, we aim to
create customers as partners which can assist in the development of the organization. The
strategies will help to build long term relations which is important for sustainability.
Unique and distinct service- The strategic management project will help the company to
provide unique and distinctive service to its customers which will also separate it from the
other companies operating in the sector. The quality of products can be improved to suit the
lifestyle and needs of the customers. New products will be suggested which can help in
building long term competitive advantage.
Values and culture-The proposed strategic management project will help the company to
improve its values and culture which guide the employees of the company towards better
