INTRODUCTION
Event management is a process under which an individual lead to facilitate project
management to create and develop large scale events such as festivals, conferences and other
activities. At banquet halls, event organiser arrange option for making their events successful and
appropriate in nature (Bladen and et. al., 2012). Sometimes, when a sales manager booked some
convention over in hotels for long term projects several issues determine which made a vast
impact on operational event on industry. Thus, it require appropriate management skill to deal
with them in an appropriate manner. This project includes a brief description about event
industry and operational issues which might take place over there. This assessment is based on
convention bureau which provide appropriate services to users.

1. Brief description about conferences, Banquet and event industry
Event industry is very wide in nature and there are different number of events get
incorporated by an individual in their daily life spam. It is essential for an association to take all
factors in account which are related with an event and make the project feasible in nature as well
(Bouchon, Hussain and Konar, 2017). Event is consider as a occasion whose major objective is
to entertain all people whom are related with it. It get organised at a place which determine as a
Banquet. Sometime, corporate bodies arrange some conference meetings for concluding a
beneficial output which also termed as the event. Conferences: It is a type of formal meeting in which many people gather at one place for
a common concern or implementing a common thing as well. These conferences are
arrange at small or wide level. Corporate events are consider as conferences which are
termed under formal meeting. Banqueting:It is a place where many people gather together for a meeting. It is a hall
where event get arrange in an appropriate manner. These are large rooms or halls where
banqueting get arranged in an effective manner.
Event: It is an occasion or anything which especially get happens at a particular place for
a common concern. These events are organise for a specific purpose or a thing which
have to take in account properly and its execution is must.

attenders and organisers. Below is value of Britain event sector industry and its contribution for
the economy which is as follow:

wide level (Deng, 2012). Hallmark events:These big events incorporate once in a year whom gain appropriate
number of attraction over there. This increase chances of making things corrective and
appropriate in manner as well.
Mega events: These are associated at wide and vast level events whom are incorporating
once in a year. Their nature of profitability is more as compared to others and required
more and more place as well.
These three are types of events whom require more and more appropriate knowledge and
management as well. Every event required proper knowledge and skill for their association so
that chances of success get increases as well as issues will get minimise. Managers have to take
all things in account properly and then perform duty properly by dividing all personnel according
to skill of working.

which are related with business are define as follow: Price: Price is consider as major issue which affect the success of such big and small
events. There are variety of cost are incur on such projects which need to get estimated in
an appropriate manner so that chances of doing things in a corrective manner get enhance
as well. Time: Another major issue which is related with project time. These big events are time
consuming and made a negative impact on event industry and their operation as well
(Kitchin, 2011). Menu planning: Menu planning and designing termed as major consent in order to make
project successful. This includes guest preferences, items and their nature etc. All these
also made a vast impact on event success and require appropriate strategy to overcome
from that. Trends: Future forecasting and making step combine with current trend is essential which
have to take in account by managers and management of organiser. This is another issue
which directly made a vast impact on business and its operation (Li and et. al., 2013). Scope of event: It is essential for a manager to look upon on each and every pro and con
of event and then take appropriate decision for that as well. A single change in plan will
directly lead to increase cost of task as well as project budget will go out of control as
well. Lack of experiences manager: If a person do not have appropriate knowledge and skill
then chances of failure are high in nature. This is a reason behind failure of event and
require highly skilled person to continue the project in an appropriate manner.
Simple mistake which are taking place due to error: Sometimes, few errors are identify
which occur due to presence of of not following all standard and requirement properly.

etiquette is required are explained below: Professional Etiquette in the workplace: Workplace are those places where employees
meets with each other and interactions happened between them. If the behaviour of
colleague or managers behaviour with colleagues is not good than it can impact cold war
between them (Roy and Pyne, 2011). Supervisor can lost 360 degrees feedback which is
important part for his promotion. Thus he's behaviour and attitude should be well
mannered with his workers to achieve 360 degree feedback in positive ways. Some of
etiquettes which a manager and worker should care about are as follows:
Involuntary Bodily Functions: No one can stop sneezing as it is a natural. But
professionals should always prepared for this unexpected reflex. But he can use
handkerchief to avoid any disturbance and spreading germs into office.
Cough: It is good to drink water or get out of the office when there's strong cough. So

meaning of events as mega, hallmark and major events. There are many strategic, operational
and banquets are explained which helps to address the business plans. Events helps to deciding
the scope of market and customer size in market. In this context managerial skills are clarify to
plan a conference and meetings. It is also elaborated that how this skills remove the conflicts and
problems in achieving the targets and objectives. In every organisational context professional
etiquette and protocols are followed to maintain discipline and control while performing tasks.
