Executive Summary
2PM Services is an organization that provides business analysis, project management among
other services to firms to be effective. As most firm are keen in the decision they make they
expect that the company that gives them the information about business analysis, project
management are able to make well equipped with Knowledge Management Practices. Therefore
2PM should improve the its Knowledge Management Practices.
Introduction
Knowledge Management Practices involves a clear understanding of the companies’ culture.
Infrastructure, measures and the technology used in an organization (Atapattu, 2018). In most
case the culture of a company is always well defined. Currently 2PM does not use a business
management software. Business management software are very useful in organization. Scoro is
one of the many business software in the market. The business management software are used to
improve the efficiency and the effectiveness of the business workflow. 2PM uses the traditional
ways in the business management. There is a lot of delay in the services it provides as more
effort is required from the employees. The documentation of the organization needs to be
improved as there are frequent concerns about the traceable documentation. 2PM services
organization is also experiencing in populating content from the Microsoft Products. The
Microsoft products include documents such as the word documents, excel sheets, pdf documents
among other documents. With the current issues 2PM Services organization is experiencing, it
requires an improvement on how it manages the business process in the organization. Some of
the improvement needed to be done includes: introduction of Scoro business management
software, improving the documentation process of the projects handled in the organization and
implement Microsoft Delve to enhance to enhance better collaboration and communication
between the people involved in the various projects handled by the company (2PM Services,
2018).
Scoro
Scoro software is a work management software that is used by most companies to manage
projects. Scoro software is used in time management, team management, sales management,
billing management and also helps in the automation of some of the professional services. The
professional services that are automated includes project management, resource management,

auditing among others. Scoro is a smart software that will help 2PM Services organization to
manage most of the internal activities such as project management, resource management for
various projects and clearly depicting the scope of a certain project. The software will help 2PM
Services organization is managing all the projects with time. Scoro has also a section of to-do list
that can show the organization the activities that need to be done. The system show the started
projects and the completed projects. Scoro will bring quite a number of benefits to 2PM Services
organization. The software will help in task management, task reporting, calendar and
scheduling, collaboration and team communication, project management and report analysis.
Tasks management involves having a to-do list, delegating the tasks to the employees, share
tasks, automated invoices and tract the time used in the completion of the tasks. Event
scheduling will involve the scheduling of the meetings, booking resources and automated
meeting scheduling. The uses of Scoro will make a team manageable (Scoro, 2018).
Documentation
The organization should also improve the documentation by using the central repository
documentation solution. A centralized document repository will help the organization to protect
its assets that support the organization. The recommended centralized document repository is M-
Files. M-Files will make it easy for secure documentation. M-Files is easy to uses as it uses the
drag and drop process to add files to the M-File drive and save the documents. The uses of M-
File will bring benefits to 2PM Services such as: maximizing the value of the organization’s
documents, prevent loss of data, secure the organization’s sensitive information and maintain a
centralized access to all the business documents (M-files.com, 2018).
Microsoft Delve
The implementation of Microsoft Office Delve will help 2PM Services incorporate elements of
social networking and machine learning. It is a cloud based software that will help the
employees in 2PM Services to find, discover pertinent information across the Microsoft products
used in the organization. The products that will be integrated include: Microsoft Exchange, One
Drive, SharePoint and Yammer. Delve will also help in bringing potentially relevant information
to the attention of the employees in 2PM Services organization. The notification is brought to the

employees based on the past activities of the employees within the same organization
(SearchContentManagement, 2018).
Delve will also assist the employees at 2PM Services in creating, editing and sharing document
among themselves. The software will enable the employees to embed document, videos and
images in case of presentation. Delve also uses machine learning to determine the topics of
interest to a particular employee. Delve enhance security as an employee will only be in a
position to access the documents they are authorized to view. Microsoft Office delve will be an
important software to integrate in the current system in use at 2PM Services organization
(Support.office.com, 2018).
Conclusion
The Knowledge Management Practices that are planned to be implemented will be of great help
to 2PM Services as the processes will be more efficient and effective. Once the new technologies
will be integrated with the business strategy currently, the workflow in 2PM Services
organization will be enhanced resulting to more productivity from the employees.
