Report
AI Summary
This report provides a comprehensive analysis of the strategic project management for a residential duplex development. It begins with a feasibility study that examines land information, purchase details, local council regulations, construction costs, and duplex specifications, culminating in an equity value calculation of $69,072 and a net monthly rental income of $460. The project schedule is meticulously detailed using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and presented in a Gantt chart created using MS-Project software, outlining tasks, durations, start and finish dates, predecessors, resources, and costs. The project follows an agile methodology, incorporating initiation, planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and closing phases. The report concludes by highlighting the importance of effective project management in construction, emphasizing the systematic implementation of each project phase to ensure successful outcomes.

2STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Introduction
The construction project management is developed for forming the effective analysis of
the tools and techniques of project management for developing the project of Residential Duplex
Development Project. According to Fleming and Koppelman (2016), the development of the
project operations would be helpful for forming the effective development of the project
operations for forming the effective and improved processing of the organization.
The following assignment would help in analysing the Project Feasibility Study for the
project and it would result in forming the development of the project integration management.
The feasibility study had been formed for integrating the role of the project in forming the
effective deployment of the project. The second part of the assignment would involve the
development of the project schedule using tables and diagram in Ms-Project Software.
1. Project Feasibility Study
The project feasibility study is the analysis of the monetary values of the project and
development of the effective costing analysis for the construction product (Larson and Gray
2013). The feasibility study of the “Residential Duplex Development Project” would be done
for considering the development of the effective and smart processing of cost estimation. As
mentioned in Domain.co.au (2017), the price of the land in Harvey is to be about AUD$
40,000.00. The feasibility study would include the analysis of the information like land
information, purchase information, local council information, construction information, duplex
information, and cash value of project results (Schwalbe 2015). The following table would show
the feasibility analysis of the project of “Residential Duplex Development Project”,

10STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The project “Residential Duplex Development Project” had included the development
of the project activities. The project had been developed by using the Agile Methodology of
Initiation, Planning, Designing, Implementing, Monitoring and Closing. The use of the agile
methodology had helped in developing the effective operations of the construction activities
(Kerzner 2013). The use of the resource division would be formed for developing the effective
transfer of the construction activities for sorting out the operations of the project. The project can
be developed for forming the accurate analysis of the project implementation and development.
Conclusion
It can be concluded from the assignment that the construction projects require the
effective use of the operation system. The improvement of the operations would be helpful for
forming the effective and smart processing of the organization. The project of “Residential
Duplex Development Project” had been developed for considering the effective methodology
of Agile Methodology. The development of the effective project management concepts would
involve the systematic implementation of the initiation phase, plan phase, design phase,
implement phase, monitoring phase, and closing phase. The project feasibility analysis had
shown that equity value of the project is equal to duplex value less total outgoings which sums to
$69072.00 value. The analysis had also shown that the net monthly rental income for the project
is gross monthly rent less holding costs which sums to $460.00 value.
