INTRODUCTION
Reward management is concerned the approach in which
organization formulate and implement the policies as well as
strategies through which the reward is provided to the
employees in equal manner and by linking it with the efforts
given by the employee in the organization (Price, 2016). The
organization adopts various strategies for managing the
reward and recognition so that employee feels motivation in
the organization. This strategy provides various benefits to the
organization that is it help the organization to expand their
operations in the international market. Further the discussion
is made on the selected topic “Strategic Reward
Management”. To discuss this approach one article is selected
and reviewed by identifying the objective, data collection

QUESTION
The aim of the research is to understand the strategies and
framework which Australian supermarket managers use to manage
and administrate the part-time workforce in the organization.
Researcher demonstrates that through developing the strategies
supermarket can reduce the labor-intensive cost and manage the
appropriate human resource in the organization (Price, 2016).
Researcher also describe that the focus of the research will mainly
on the reward management strategies. It is because compensation
and rewards is considered the main component to satisfy the needs
and requirements of the part-time workers.

METHOD
The data collection was done by using primary method that is by
organizing the interview.
Researchers conducted 33 interviews from the Human Resource staff
members in which all the members from different area such as
recruitment, training, and HR managers are involved it is because
through this opinions and ideas of the members will be conducted in
effective manner and also support the organization to achieve the
objective of conducting the research.
In the study 22 managers, 17 employees were involved, the study was
conducted in “FoodCo, Coles and Woolworths”, Australia (Price, 2016).
The interview from the members will be conducted by using the semi-
structured scheduled interview and time involved in taking interview is
40-0 minutes.
The interview is taken by asking different questions about the
strategies being adopted for effective reward management in the
organization. The questions will be different for different part-time
workers in Australia (Price, 2016).

FINDINGS
Researchers investigated that reward management is the main
strategy which each organization adopt to manage the workers
in efficient manner.
Through the investigation, researchers demonstrate that
FoodCo, has different reward management policies for different
employees such as for store manager it has compensation in
addition to car and bonus base on the key performance
indicators.
Coles and Woolworths also develop and manage reward
strategy according to the designation and performance of the
employee that is for supervisor it provide training promotion
which is based on the target and budget set by the organization
as well as key performance indicators.
Researchers also demonstrate that employee also gets reward
according to their working hours if the workers work extra from
the normal working hours.

CONCLUSION
From the investigation, researchers conclude that there are
different strategies for motivating the employees of the
organization.
Therefore, supermarkets in Australia such as Woolworths adopt
the key performance indicators for which the overall
performance of the employees is evaluated.
It is because through this supermarket can provide appropriate
reward to the employees according to their efforts given by
them in the organization.
Researchers also conclude that this reward management
supports the organization to earn more profits and revenue and
give the opportunities to take new challenges so that
competitive advantage will be taken in the organization.
The organization also provides bonus and other benefits so that
reward management strategy will be maintained in effective
manner.
