Introduction:
The purpose of this report is to discuss about the services of the Murdoch University
with the purpose to elaborate the most significant business case identified in this case
scenario. In order to support the above mentioned statement, this paper will also elaborate the
identified limitation present in this case followed by which it has been noticed that in the
Murdoch University there is a significant problem present related to the less effective
services which holds a huge impact on the customer satisfaction. Considering these aspects it
has been also noticed that there is huge necessity to enhance the customer satisfaction as well
as the services of the selected university. With the purpose to enhance the above identified
functionality, Murdoch University needs effective strategies as well as the risk mitigation
approach which must hold the capability to address the above requirement (Booth 2019).
Followed by the aspect to incorporate effective business strategies into the university
infrastructure, an investigation will be conducted in order to identify the risk factors present
in the case scenario. Considering those identified problems it will also consist a detail
elaboration which holds significant impact on mitigating those identified limitations. Lastly,
it will conclude by elaborating most effective strategies which will surely address all of the
user requirement.
Problem Statement:
After a thorough investigation on the above mentioned case scenario it has been
noticed that Murdoch University Singapore is facing significant problems related to the
services of the university which is causing less customer satisfaction. Followed by this
concern it has been noticed that since, the university is one of the oldest university situated
world-wide, it is highly essential to consist an effective information management system
which will help it provide more effective services to its users. However, followed by the
identification it has been noticed that there are several problems related to the less effective
university services such as poor database as well as it consist a less effective student
management system. Hence, in this case study it has been identified that the nominated
university has the problems related to the database management, student management which
needs to be mitigated.

management approaches which will influence the services of the University.
 Revenue is also another significant objective of this project as this will help to address the
user requirement.
 Apart from that it is also essential to incorporate effective technologies in order to handle
the university data.

essential to enhance the university services.

 Due to the incorporation of less effective information technology it has been noticed that
the students of the Murdoch University is getting disappointed in case of any problem
occurs.
 Followed by this the student management system of this university is very poor. Which
cause a significant impact on students as well as to the students.
 Poor decision making approaches.
 Less effective marketing strategy.
 Poor database management system
 Less effective transaction procedure.
 Along with that there is a significant possibility present related to the student data
security.
Possible mitigation approach(s):
Considering the rapid growth of internet as well as the technologies it has been noticed
that there are several approaches which can mitigate the identified limitations present in the
university work process. In the nominated university there are several services such as the
education counselling services, career care services, admission cell, Scholarship department,
HR office, examination cell, attendance monitoring department and many more. Hence, it has
been determined to incorporate effective mitigation strategies to address all of the user
requirement with efficient services. Those strategies are listed below:
 Incorporation of digital tools into the university infrastructure will be surely enhance the
operations of the Murdoch University. Those digital tool includes the digitized
attendance system by which it will very easy to gather and analyse the attendance of each
student without the chances of being manipulated by any external forces. Followed by
this it has been also noticed that there is a huge necessity to adopt the information
technology in order to speed the other organizational activities (Lisciandro 2016).
 Along with that it is also important to incorporate effective database management system
followed by which the university will be able to easily gather the student as well as other
information related to the organization. The incorporation of this digital database
management system will help to easily analyse and process the university data which
enhances the services of the nominated university (Rao 2017).
 Followed by the above adoptions the incorporation of the digital learning process
includes several significant impact to enhance the services of the university. As it has

been noticed that Murdoch University is one of the most popular university thus, the
incorporation of the effective e-learning process will help the students to get more access
to the study any time anywhere. Hence, it can be stated that this can help the university
to enhance the student satisfaction.
 Along with the above incorporations it has been also noticed that the adoption of
automated systems in order to support the decision making process of the university,
which will help to enhance the efficiency of several activities such as the operations like
admission, examination seating arrangements, merit list publishing as well as
recommending effective career guide process of Murdoch University. Hence, it can be
stated that there is a huge significance of incorporation the automated system in the
university infrastructure (Klochkov et al., 2016).
Recommendation:
Followed by the above discussion it has been noticed that the above approached
technologies holds a significant impact on enhancing the services of the university. Hence,
with the purpose to implement most effective risk management as well as the services
strategies it is highly essential to incorporate the below mentioned technologies:-
Adoption University Database Management Software-
Due to the incorporation of this software it will help to manage the university
database in which it will perform the activities such as gathering the student information,
generating unique numbers for each students, analysing the student data to make effective
decisions as well as sorting the students based on their scores as well (de Freitas et al., 2015).
Followed by the above aspects there are several beneficial features present into the
application of the university database management software which includes the online
admission process, generation of the unique enrolment number, student registration, e-
learning management as well as the ability to check the seat availability in the university.
Information Security Management-
Along with the above discussion it is highly essential to incorporate effective security
policies into the university infrastructure in order to protect the university information system
since, the university database management software consists of several confidential aspect
related to the services of the university (Grushka et al., 2016). Hence, it can be stated that

organization.

Lastly, it can be concluded that this paper has effectively identified that in the
business services of Murdoch University there is a significant lack of effective technologies
in order to enhance the operations of the university which is significantly affecting the user
satisfaction. This paper has identified most impactful limitation in order to address those
limitations with effective mitigation approach. Followed by this objectives, this paper also
consist of the mitigation approaches, its implementation schedule as well as the cost of the
approached project. Hence, it can be stated that the above approached strategies will surely
