working in a hospitality sector this, organisation is facing tough competition from large numbers
of companies operating in same filed (D’Annunzio-Green, 2018). Thus, in order to built better
competitive strength and have better business position it become necessary for Cosmos tour Ltd
and other organisation to evaluate some new and more innovative ways of working to achieve a
strategic approach to talent management as it provide an effective way to enhance skills and
competencies of an organisation.
Research aim
The main aim of this research project is, To have better understanding about
importance of new and innovative ways to achieve strategic approach to talent management in
order to have better growth and success of organization”.
Research objectives
The main objectives of this research project that is based on an investigation on Cosmos
tours Ltd are stated as follows:
To have better knowledge about concept of talent management.
To evaluate the needs for new and innovative ways of working to achieve a strategic

management of talent within the organization. Beside this, the main purpose behind conducting
this research work on Cosmos tour Ltd is evaluating the importance and need of strategic talent
management within hospitality industry to achieve and accomplish desired goals in more
effective way.

Various activities and task are to be performed by a researcher in order to accomplish the

retaining high-quality and talented employees together with developing their skills and
competencies through continuously motivating workforce to improve their performance with

properly communication about organisational goals, prioritizing employees needs tighter with
solidifying and brining more innovative changes in talent management strategy.

Research Philosophies- It is mainly of two types I.e positivism and interpretivism which
are commonly used by a researcher. With regard to this research work the philosophy used is
Positivism as it the one that facilitates more practical and systematic way of data collection and
presentation (Cappelli and Keller, 2017).
Research approach- This part of research method is bifurcated in two main components
that are deductive and inductive. Out of theses two research approach use of deductive research
approach has been made for current research work as it the one that ensure better generalization
and presentation of numeric data thus, provides support for quantitative research method.
Research method- There are two main types of research study and methods that includes
qualitative research and quantitative research. Qualitative research is associated with gathering
in-depth information thus, it is more complex and time consuming therefore, use of quantitative
research method is more suitable for current research work (Collings, Mellahi and Cascio, 2017).
Quantitative research methods facilitates procurement of data in numeric form that is easy to
collect and represent.

Methodologies
Sources of data collection- There are two main sources of data collection that includes
primary and secondary sources. Use of both modes of data collection is made for this
investigation as primary sources ensures collection of latest and authentic data directly from
respondents (Collings and Isichei, 2017) . Beside this, use of secondary method ensures supports
and better base form pre rerecorded facts and documents.
Sampling method- It is process associated with selection of a some small number of units
from a large population in order to perform a research work in more effective way (Thunnissen
and Gallardo-Gallardo, 2017). For current research work a sample size of 40 respondents is
selected from workforce of Cosmos tours Ltd through making use of random sampling method
(probability sampling) in order to complete this research work more effective and also eliminates
the caches if biasness.
Research instrument- It basically represent the tool used for collection data. In
accordance with current research work use of questionnaire is made to collect information
directly from respondents as mode of primary research (Amiri and Safariolyaei, 2017). Use of
