Steps to ensure that goals of the team are clearly understood by all members
Setting goal for the project is very important for achieving its objectives. Project team
members need to have an understanding with respect to goals can result in overall improvement
and retention (Maduka et al., 2018). It merely aims to highlight the fact that they can save time
and improve the overall efficiency
Use of SMART System: At the time of setting up goal with the team, there is a need of
good place for beginning with SMART system (DuBois et al., 2015). All the required goals of
the project need to be specific, attainable, relevant and time based.
Creating an action plan: For meeting each of the goal, a proper action plan is required. It
is completely related to the various measureable parts of SMART system (Aga, Noorderhaven &
Vallejo, 2016). It is all about creating a range of milestone which can be used by employee so
that they can keep a track of progress.
Tracking with the online program: There are large number of systems and programs
which help the organization and employees to keep a track and set up goals. Team members aims
set up department and individual goals.
Follow up: It is very much important to have performance reviews that helps in ensuring
proper kind of communication. It mainly tends to take place outside the given process.
