Strayer University's Role in Enhancing Business Skills and Knowledge

This essay reflects on the author's decision to attend Strayer University to enhance business skills and knowledge, increase financial stability, and demonstrate that it is never too late to pursue education. The author anticipates that their education at Strayer will aid in understanding and improving nonprofit operations, developing essential business skills for a smooth-functioning organization, and enhancing marketability in the current workplace. The acquired knowledge will be instrumental in planning and managing a future nonprofit venture, increasing competitive skills, and achieving financial goals for early retirement. The author views returning to academics after a 35-year gap as a significant step toward completing a long-awaited life goal, emphasizing the development of skills necessary for both creating a nonprofit organization and achieving personal and career growth.

Knowledge can be gained at any given point in your life. In my past I had faced
several issues that led to a discontinuation of my academic career. My decision to take
classes at Strayer was to enhance my business skills, knowledge, increase my financial
stability and allow me the opportunity to show it is never too late to finish what I
started. I expect that my education at the Strayer University would aid me in my
understanding of the operations that are related to the several non-profit organizations.
This in turn would assist me in the instillation as well as the application of my plans
regarding the betterment of the organization in a well-organized manner.
The study of the business skills that I would be learning at Strayer University
would help me in the development of the skills that might be implemented for the
smooth and proper functioning of the non-profit organization. This will ensure the
proper functioning of the departments of the non-profit organization. The business
courses at Strayer would enable me to enhance my business skills and knowledge which
will make me marketable an enable me to be competitive in my current work place. I
will use the knowledge acquired at Strayer learned to help navigate my plans in the
business field when I start my non-profit organization. The business classes that I
undertake at Strayer tend to assist me in the planning the several activities that are
necessary for the smoothness in the functioning of my planned future venture of the
nonprofit organization.
My academic career at Strayer University would assist me in increasing the
competitive skills that I have been implementing in my present workplace. This in turn
would help me in developing a stable mental condition that would assist me to maintain
my hold in the financial sector. This business course would aid me in the increment of
my financial stability, by being competitive when applying for promotions at my current
job and future endeavors. Thus, this course would assist me by allowing me to reach
financial goals for early retirement.
The opportunity would assist me in completing the academic endeavors that I
had started in my student life. This shows that even after 35 years, it is never too late to
return to compete what I started. This further reveals the academic career can be
continued even after a gap. This step of finishing my career in academics at the Strayer
university and thereafter commencing on the journey to establish my own non-profit
organization was a giant step to finally complete my long-awaited life goal, after raising
a family.
