In lay man’s terms, stress refers to the pressure of tension that is exerted by a material
or an object. There are various activities that might lead up to stress in the life of individuals.
Stress is something that can take a toll on the activities that an individual is associated to,
hence, the latter must be managed effectively in order to manage the ill-effects that are
suffered as a result of presence of the same. It can be thus said that management of stress is
important as it allows individual to gain effectiveness in terms of operations that an
individual is associated to.
I work in an organization that develops car navigation services. There are condition
that comply with call center services with the help of which the navigation related queries are
solved by the consumers. Thus, the latter is an aspect of my work that results in stressful
situations. As a result my stress, I have been able to identify stress management techniques
that can help me relieve myself from stress. Meditation, keeping a positive attitude and
accepting things as a part of work can help in mitigating or reducing stress.
Meditation is an activity that is close to Japanese culture. I will be able to incorporate
the same into my stress management plan. Being able to maintain a positive attitude will help
me in justifying the difference between stress and non-stressful situations. Furthermore,
acceptance will of work as it is will help in effective management of stress
