past decades, it is observed that there is very less role of
airline industry in tourism business. So, the structure of
travel sector is different that time in comparison to
modern era. Therefore, different factors like technology,
political conditions, government policies, tour operators,
hotels etc. have changed the complete structure of travel
and tourism sector in UK. Large number of rules and
regulations are providing by UK government which are
required to adhere by all tour operators while providing
their services. This helps the travellers to make their
plans in more convenient and better way. The basic
structure of travel and tourism sector consists travel
services, tourism services, conferences and events,
visitor attractions, accommodation services, passenger
transport etc. The whole structure is mentioned below:
Travel services includes all such organisations which
are providing their services relating to the travel of
individual from one place to another. Large number of
mediums are available which are used by the
organisation in providence of their services like bus, car,
train, aircraft, vessel etc. It is basic requirement in travel
and tourism sector to having good mediums of transport
regrading migration of tourists from one country to
another.

industry which not only includes transport business
