Student Council is putatively the representative of the students and unluckily, at FCCC
institution, this expression remains almost imaginary. Joining the council, I ensured that the
students prerequisites and philosophies are heard and solutions provided (Northouse, P, 2018).
This in return will assist in changing the future of our institution from the present state.
My experience and leadership skills are quite considerable. Having been a student leader
at middle school and high school level where I helped in organizing a variety of school events
like debates, games, and elections. Also, I joined different clubs such as sports and drama which
assisted me to acquire leadership and managerial skills. Volunteering brings out the imamate
feeling enjoying what one always executes in changing the life’s of people and community at
large, which is better than sitting relaxed in the house (Weddington, S, 2016). Like all other
institutions, schools must be perceived well to the public which in return will help the locale in a
great way. With this, the community's perception of the learners will change positively in that
they will be accepted compassionately as well-rounded individuals. The student council needs
people who are able and ready to tirelessly work and majorly give up their time for the
betterment of other students and good leadership. As per my experience, skills and what I can
offer, the council needs people with the passion and traits of my caliber.
As one of the student council members, I will introduce a different and all-rounded list of
talents and characters. Though there have been claims by a good number of students that our school is
uninteresting, still their exist a chance to change this kind of attitudes by bringing in more fun
events which will entice and develop their urge of joining and coming back to the school.
Holding a spirited period and actual talent shows weekly is a representation of the few among the

variety of plethora of ideas I have in place. With a devoted team in place much more events will
happen and be successful including those uniting the student body. Working hand in hand with
others is core and I will be happy to belong to great team as a member since the exchange of
ideas for prosperity is vital rather than singling out oneself. Being a good listener, I will hearken
to others and find a compromise for whatever we are effecting, also will be a loyal member. My
projects won't stall but, will be completed within the stipulated period. I am very interested in
being a member of the Student Council since I believe in being part of your institute rather than
being just there. Am time-bound in all that I do, meaning there will be minimal or no complains.
This is an important characteristic in ensuring the smooth running of day to day school
businesses and being on schedule. Therefore, I believe am one of the competent personality for
this position.
