INTRODUCTION
Student development and learning theory provides frameworks that give the idea to the
educators to understand the students growth and development. This is clear that adjusting in a
difficult coursework is hard to understand in the initial stages, living away from home,
adapting to a new social scene, and always dealing with personal responsibilities is sometimes
very difficult to handle for the students in their starting phases(Seage, and Türegün, 2020). Most
of the students when enter into their they are full of excitement, and also ready to start a new
stage of their life and ready to put the efforts to reach their goals. Although in the context of 11
year class student, performing below the standards and also there are some students are enjoying
their subjects, and also some students are disengage from their studies. So, these problems will
be discussed further concerned with these issues.
MAIN BODY
Suspected problems and development issues for the students
In a school there is a learning difficulty that can cause an individual, students have to
experience lots of problem in a classroom learning. Although all the students are willingly taking
the courses by this stage of schooling sometimes the student are not motivated enough because
of the uncertainty about the stream they have opted (Fidan, and Tuncel, 2019). This may affect
their educational development and it also effect on their memory and ability to focus on the
study. The environment of the classroom also affect the focus of the students. Dull colours and
lack of creativity decrease the concentrating ability of a student and hence creates distraction in
the class. On the other hand, a learning difference takes the opposite impact on underscoring
sometimes students simply learns in a different way from the other students,so this is one of the
reason to not doing well in the class. It is because of multiple factors that lead to the declination
in the concentration of students, and a seriousness in the prior classes before 11th makes the
student a little less serious about the studies. Additionally the class 12th is always given more
importance and priory in deciding the colleges and is considered as the base for the higher
education. All these conventional thought process makes the subconscious of the student a less
concerned about the grade 11th which ultimately decreases the performances.

Issues and problems requires further investigation by teachers
There are various underlying problem existing in the schooling culture and management
that requires attention for the effectiveness of learning. These problems are minute enough to
continue to exist (Rowe, and Fitness, 2018). In order to better understand these problems,
furtherance is a brief about it. Sometimes student behaviour such as continuous talking in the
classroom, harassing their classmates, rudeness to teachers is a main issue in everyday
classrooms. Teachers always reported that this behaviour of students in the classroom is
intolerable, obviously this misbehaviour of the students impact on their studies and it also effects
on their classmates (.Pradubthong, Petsangsri, and Pimdee, 2018). Moreover, In the initial days
of 11th class, teacher usually set a pace for teaching in order to make the student realise that
further level of studies will be different, because of this some of the students who weren't ready
for the new pace of teaching lose their interest in the subjects and might never try to compete
with other students and hence a constant phase of lagging behind and distracted version comes
into existence.
Another factor that the students of class 11th go through is a sudden change in the
behaviour of teachers along with the increment in liberty and course of studies. In sampler terms
when the students were in class 10th their course and strictness of teacher was a combination
good enough for being compatible for learning. In class 11th the students are considered to
matured enough to stick the conventional ways and react mature accordingly, which is
apparently not the case. This sudden hike in the liberty freedom of the student takes away the
discipline which ultimately results in the decrement in performance.
In schooling system exist another subtle reason for the difference in the interest shown by
the students, this is the dominance of the intelligent student. In class 11th most of the students
have been studying in the same school for around 5-6 years at least; an argument suggest a
higher number, as changing school around higher classes can disrupt the education of the ward.
When the student reaches class 11th, considering class 10th was made to feel important the
teachers already have the good student and not so well performing student and this becomes the
problem for the student who would have performed given proper guidance. Such a division of
students in the mentality of the students becomes a barrier for the potentially performing students
and this ultimately results into their performance dipping continually. This research finding have
shown that due to these existing subtle issue the students lowered academic achievements and

also increased the ignorance on their studies, so, these are the things that teachers have to
identify and take actions for this. For the improvement in the performance of students.
Which theories is related to learning or development and why?
The constructivism learning theory is working on the idea of the students can actually
create their own learning is based on the previous experience of the students. Students take what
things are being taught and also add some experience or knowledge that they have studied
before. And also create an image in their mind that the subject they have studied is only for them
(Cho, Lee, Joo, and Becker, B.J., 2018). This learning theory helps to understanding and
influencing what students do, but teachers also want to know that what students also thinks. And
how to improve their learning capacity, this helps to find out the students best version. This
model helps to know how students is constructing their knowledge itself, and if any problem
comes teachers will help to resolve their problem in learning. This model also helpful for
teachers to find out the best way of teaching, and how their students can keep focused on their
studies. The followings are the some of the component of constructive theory,
Problem-based learning (PBL): One of the major argument of this theory is to tech the
students that not just theoretical practical as much as it is is possible (Arivina, and Jailani, 2020).
The theory emphasises on the fact that student's learning or any other learning in the world is
done so that it can be applied one day effectively, and the conventional ways of teaching have
always made the application of learning difficult for the student, hence the problem solving
learning plays an important role in the application of any theoretical learning.
Apply knowledge with feedback: This form of learning drills are found to be very
effective as it allows the student to question every knowledge and the reason behind it (Stephan,
Markus, and Gläser-Zikuda, 2019Lyu, and Wang, 2018). Questing is what defines the
importance of answers, the followers of this method are asked to compare the conventional
knowledge and its application in the present times, and if the student find the two compatible
then a modification is necessary which the student has all the liberty to make. This way the
students are always filled with excitement because of the practical approach of learning and also
questioning the conventional ways gives them a sense of power through knowledge, which is
ultimately expected to that grows with time.
Cooperative learning: Another excellent component of constructivism learning theory is
that it promotes the group learning and team working. When a student passes out of the school,

the colleges are very well adapted to the team working projects which is ultimately based on the
working of a practical world because that is how it is in corporates.(.Im, and Kang, 2019) This
method of learning is very much appreciated by the supporters of a change in the educational
ways because it not only prepares the student for the real world but also helps in better
understanding. Team work teaches a lot to a student such as compatibility and emotional balance
along with new innovative and creative idea generations.
How would you plan for the students in the scenario?
With an observable decrement in the performance of the students in the class 11th the
necessary changes must be made in order to make the each and every student perform and score
well not only in the academics but also in the real world (.Geller, Toftness, Armstrong,
Carpenter, Manz, Coffman, and Lamm, 2018) As this stage of the student life plays a crucial
role because this is one of the very last chance for the student to get serious about studies and
career, the management team of the educational department must ensure the system works well
for the student. Acknowledge of the problems is the first step to solving it. There are many such
problems as discussed in the report which requires and effective solution in order get the results
from the student, the problems and their respective solution are as follows:
Discipline: As the student of class 11th are considered to have passed their age of being
treated with strictness, many students tend to miss use the fresh liberty they are allowed. These
students were mostly on time in the previous classes because of the strictness and punishments.
Such tardiness display not only affects their own lives but the environment of the entire class as
well.
Friendly nature: There must be a friendly nature between everyone present in the class
which involves teacher, well performing student, and no well performing student(Yilmaz, and
Kaygin, 2018)). Many a times this division of students which is although not promoted but left
unchecked creates a difference in the studying capacity of the students. The students at the lower
end compare themselves and never really get a positive vibe and ultimately result in the
acceptance of how things are and they certainly come into existence as well.
Creative environment, more activities: The student should not be kept at either of the
end of studies which either too much into the books or too much time without them (Sung, and
Wickrama, 2018). The balance must be sought after the department. As activities and freshness
of mind helpful for the effective studying.

Audio video teaching: Creativity is the core of understanding, even when the students are
powered by their passion and interests sometimes the boring appearance of the syllabus and the
conventional ways makes it difficult for them to be engaged in the studies through out the
semesters. Hence the role of creative teaching is important because it not only gives a sense of
freshness but is also supported by the fact that audio video are better understood. And with the
current available technologies at such affordable prices , animation and 3d learning of complex
theories can help out the education system and give a exponentially well performed results.
Which evidence-based support/intervention strategies to support the learning and development of
the students in the scenario
On the basis of the gathered information on the schooling system and with carefully
examining the issue and their major reasons behind. There must be a strategic approach to
immediate effect to better the performance of the students and this involves several level of
managerial evolvement.
Course: The course of the student should be divided into team projects and problem
solving projects as well.
Timing: The students must be given more time in the premises for practical knowledge
and current scenario and their solution around the world, this will not only help the student at
updated with the present world knowledge but also keeps them more target oriented in studying
Seminars: There are many students in with brilliant potential but somehow lose interest
or get distracted along the way, these students if given proper guidance can achieve so much,
hence a necessity for seminars is to be fulfilled by the school department.
Management: The school itself should just work as a medium but also as a guardian,
Normally parents aren't capable of visualising the activities going on at the school but the
teachers and head of department are very well aware of the performance of student and the
reason behind it. Hence with proper management of the student reports the student can be helped
in performing good both academically and personality wise as well and help the student achieve
success in career.

CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from the above report that leaning and development of the student is
affected by many factors. All these factors are somehow related to the growing age, as it is
because of the age the burden of expectations increases and additionally in the late teen age the
student goes through some natural changes as well. Because of these various reasons student fail
to perform. Through this report it can be concluded that with proper changes being made the
student performances can be very carefully be enhanced. Changing the way of teaching, making
it more creative and team work in play can improve the overall performance of the student which
will prove out to be helpful through the career.
