Dear Mam/Sir,
I hereby submit my project report on "Student Performance Representation". This project is fully
functional and has many features. The main objective of constructing this system is to provide
the simplest way to the students in finding their attendance details along with their marks and
percentage so that they can be able to judge their performance level and by that they can also
improve the sections an pay attention to that so that they can enhance their performance level and
skills.
In the end, I would like to thank everyone to help me a lot in the successful completion of this
project. I also agree that without having their support, this project could not reach the height of
success. After the completion, I successfully submitting this project to my educator.
Yours faithfully

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project report is based on the topic “Student Performance Representation”. The main
purpose of designing this system is to satisfy the need and requirement of the student as well as
the educators so that they can easily be able to search or find all the details of the students related
to their marks and attendance. This project will also be helpful to the instructors as they can be
able to find the progress of the student’s attendance and marks. This project report includes many
things such as the main features of the project. The present report will also provide a brief
description of the topic of the project. In addition to this, the background and motivation section
will also include which will define the complete description of the system. Along with this, the
system architecture is designed completely so that the user can easily be able to understand the
structure of the project. For better understanding, the screenshots are also provided to the admin
as well as to the user so that they can easily access the system without facing any difficulty. The
report will also define the classes used in this system including the class diagram which
represents the relationship between them. Lastly, the system has totally based on the Java
application to the deep knowledge of this language is also provided to the user including lots of
experiences that we gained while completing this project.

PROPOSAL
Analysis of Student performance using graphical representation
Abstract
Analysis of Student performance using graphical representation is the project, designed to
analyse the student’s performance and represent the graphical representation of the students’
performances on the basis of their marks and attendance in the class. The project also
includes the student registration process to register the student in the system. It includes the
add marks process to add the marks of the student in the system.
Introduction
The graphical representation is used to analyze the data numerically. It is the type of graph
like a chart which is used to represent the data statistically in the line and curve form across
the slotted surface. The graphical representation is used to show the performance of students
graphically and it is connected with the database so, it is useful for the juniors also (Your
Article Library, 2019).
Motivation
Previously all the information of the student entered manually in the register and was saved
in the records. It will consume a lot of hours in searching & adding the data of students and a
lot of physical efforts also required. Sometimes, there is a chance of data loss and there is no
maintenance of data.

Inherent complexities and challenges
Manage to store all the details of students and for designing the GUI for users in the
application & to connect it with the database is the major challenge.
Project Plan
S.No No. of Weeks Activities
1. WEEK 1 – WEEK 2 Research for the application.
2. WEEK 3- WEEK 5 Discover the requirements of the application and
generate the progress report.
3. WEEK 6- WEEK 10 Implementing the application practically.
4. WEEK 11- WEEK 13 Using different test cases to run the application and
complete the final report.
It will take approximately 13 weeks for executing the Java application using graphical
representation.
Conclusion
In the “GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION” application, fulfill all the requirements of the
admin and the students for searching, deleting and adding the details of student’s grades and
the attendance. This application consists of a GUI for the users to manage the data
efficiently. It will reduce the physical efforts of the students as well as the Admin.

INTRODUCTION
This is the report on the subject “Student Performance Representation”. This is the system
which is designed to assist the students as well as the educators to search the details of their
academic marks along with percentage and also their attendance details. In this system, all the
details are to be added by the admin. This system was designed to reduce the workload, save the
time and efforts of the admin. In earlier time, the student’s information and details are recorded
manually and the data was stored in the records so this was hectic for the educators and even for
the students to view their details of Attendance and marks and in this manual work there is the
risk of losing the data as because no proper maintenance was there. Thus, this system was
designed to provide the students and educators the easiest way to view all the information related
to attendance and marks of the students at an only single click. This system will also protect the
data of the students. Thus this system will assist to maintain and manage the records of the
student’s attendance and progress, etc.

BACKGROUND AND MOTIVATION
In the past time, the admin has to record or add the details or information of the students
manually which takes a lot of time and efforts in adding it and there was the possibility of losing
the data of the students because there was no proper maintenance of the data. Therefore, the
admin was motivated by this only to design such a functional and effective system which helps
the students as well as the instructors in managing the data and information of the students so
that they can be able to easily recognize their marks and percentage along with their attendance
details. In this system, the admin can add all the details of the student’s attendance and marks.
Admin can also view the existing students and their progress. The learners have to enter all the
details in the registration form so that their educator can record their details in the system. Along
with this, it is mandatory that the students must be authorized by the admin to use this
application system. The students can view all the details about their marks and attendance. The
admin can add marks and attendance details of the learners and then the students can view all
their details. Thus, by this, the admin can be able to manage the records of the student's in a very
effective way (Spriggs et al. 2018).

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
The system architecture part of the project report defines that the system is totally and fully
based on the Java application and the SQL is to be used for storing the data of the student’s. This
section of the report is used to handle the main objects of the system. This section will also
describe and define all the levels of the designed system. This will assist the creator to
understand the functionality of the system. There are many elements which had been used in this
system and the relationship between them is also defined in the project report. The system
architecture aids the user to understand the complexity of the system and the behavior and nature
of this system are also been defined in the following project report. Along with this, if the user
faces any difficulty or issue then the system architecture also provides a comprehensive solution
for the issue faced or occurred in the system (Richard & Lahman 2015).
In the system architecture, the functions which are used to design this system are of the
Java application, which is a platform independent language. The Java frames are also used to
interact with the system with the user. Along with this, the developer has also created many
elements just to develop this system. Also, all the developed elements are related to each other in
order to perform the functionalities of the system. This project has been made using the graph
and the analysis of student performance will be done by using the graphical representation. The
user interface has also been created to complete the project successfully.
