Need for the development of the system
The North Hill College is looking to develop the system for the registration of the
students. The system would be very beneficial in enrolling the students in the courses in the
college. The process would be performed with a great level of efficiency and hence, the need for
the development of an efficient system has been considered by the organization. The
requirements of the system that is to be developed has been gathered from the JAD sessions that
are conducted by me as IT manager.
Business Case
The North Hill College is looking to implement a new registration system that would be
helpful for the organization in boosting and improving their registration process. The
organization is typical educational institution that would be consisting of administrators and
registrars. A students support and service team are also present who would be able to support the
IT and academic departments of the organization.
Business Benefits of system implementation
The major benefits of the system implementation for the organization are:
ï‚· Development of new automated procedure replacing the old one.
ï‚· Reducing the hassles of registrations of a course for the students.
ï‚· Improving security constraints of the system.
