Good morning/afternoon teachers and fellow class mates.
Firstly, I would like to thank you for giving me this opportunity, this is a chance to prove that I
can be a great leader and role model within our school. I believe I can lead this school with pride
not only to my class mates but also to younger students. I think that a sense of pride is of vital
importance to feel oneself closer to the work responsibility and I do feel the same in a prominent
way. This is mainly due to my belief in myself and my capable outlook towards contributing this
school where I never deny to take part in even the most challenging chores and instead get
inspired from it. On considering the roles and responsibilities of SRC, its members are firstly
required to take some effective decisions for the benefit of the students of an educational system.
It represents a statutory structure as determined by the Higher Education Act. It is therefore
apparent that the members associated with SRC are largely responsible to possess efficient
leadership as well as organizational skills to lead the educational institution towards betterment.
Also the SRC is known to offer an extensive range of services to the individual students
as well as their groups. For which, exercising authority related to politics, administration and
economy is also considered to be a vital agenda in terms of managing the activities associated
with student’s life. Considering this fact, SRC is proven to be one of the chief decision making
assembly of student governance. I thus feel honored in representing myself as an essential part of
this institute and pledge to serve in the best possible way. I can guarantee such assured
commitment for having effective leadership abilities where I am together aware of basic
organizational skills. Both of these aptitudes are evident to assist me in taking likely decisions in
favor of the institute. It is also in accordance to my credence on being authentic and not getting
wavering at times when I am required to deal with any challenging situation. Apart from this, I
together believe to be a good listener with an open mind to clearly discuss out things that may
often goes beyond once imagination.
Hence, I believe in open communication to consider the ideas given by one and all to
further create a collaborative surrounding followed by a fostered creativity. I thereby believe to
be a good leader who is potent enough to handle suggestions given by everyone to move towards
betterment and adapt changes in a much easier way. Beside this, a proper delegation of tasks is
referred to be yet another prospective consideration of a good leader where I would like to thank
my superiors to make me enough capable of handling important projects. I therefore know the
importance of completing such complicated projects on time and within a set deadline. Although,

it doesn’t mean that I have never committed any mistake or I simply cannot make any error.
Instead, I think that taking risks in life is also supposed to be a significant errand where one
should definitely take risks to learn new things in life without getting afraid of failure or faults,
etc. As per my belief, one should absolutely learn from the mistakes in order to improve the
future.
This can be done by only being affirmative towards the future and take charge of the
committed mistake. I together believe to have yet another effective trait of a quality leader that
also declares me as a role model for all students where I strongly believe in developing my
knowledge on constant basis without any fail. For this, I duly learn from my experience and plan
in a proactive manner. Seeking knowledge from all possible means has always been on the top of
my list and it is with a principle concern of encouraging all my constituents. My passion to serve
others and make them grow in every possible manner is one of my utmost consideration and
through this platform, I cordially invite the students to share any of their concerning matters or
any issue that they are dealing with and want to raise the same. I once again thank one and all to
give me such vital opportunity of participating in the student council and contribute in their
decision making procedure. I once again ensure to work in the most collaborative manner and
support all student groups by resolving any incongruities hindering their developmental agendas.
