Executive Summary
Conestoga Consulting Company is an company that resolves the problem that arises in
Conestoga College through consulting. Three clients hired Conestogan Consulting Company
and undergone three surveys based on Proactive skills , communication skills which are key
elements that ate required in workplace. A SWOC analysis has been done based on the
survey which will show the impact of college in providing time management skills and
making the students efficient in planning and prioritizing a task. This survey analysis will
shed light on the strengths , weakness and opportunities. An opportunity will be analysed
that will add value to the client. A secondary research will be carried that will add value to

Opening
Purpose / Background
Conestoga Consulting Company is involved in solving the issues that come up in
Conestoga College by consulting. All the departments of Conestoga University is not
equipped with expertise on different genre so they approach to Conestoga Consulting
Company to complete the task that they fail to provide efficiently.
3 clients hired Conestoga Consulting Company who served different responsibilities on the
campus. A survey has been conducted by them that will help them to analyse the present
situation of some activities. Client A surveyed on the proactive skills to determine how
much students are fit for job. Client B is from communication department that surveyed
communication skill of the student that they need to develop to enhance their career. Client
D, Conestoga Student Inc. was involved in surveying Climate Change and Single- Use
Plastic.
Client A is Gurleen Kaur, the Director of Student Success Services is engaged in supporting
students of Conestoga College to make them prepare for the workplace. The director
surveyed to know that whether the students of Conestoga College has the key skills that they
are required for the workplace. This survey was then handed over to Conestoga Consulting
Company to analyse. The main aim of this survey was to know the opinion of the students on
developing these skills along with the opportunities to improve these skills.
Client B is Khalil Ramos, the Chair person of Communication department engaged in
improving the students orkplace communication skills. The department ensured that the
students receive the appropriate training that will help them to prepare for their job. He want
the Conestoga Consulting Company to analyse that which communication skills the students
feel to be important to excel in the workplace.

Client D, Miriam Gallardo, President of Conestoga Student Inc. is involved in sponsoring
services, events for the students in Conestoga campus. She wants to analyse the students
opinion on climate change and single –use plastics.
Survey Analysis
After the survey, Conestoga Consulting Company did an investigation on Proactive
Achievement Skills by SWOC Analysis . By analysis it has been seen that on asking the
importance of planning and prioritizing to start a project and decide its importance in the
workplace 50 students out of 88 voted as very important aspect and 21 students out of 88
voted planning and prioritizing as somewhat important. Second question was on their ability
to plan and prioritize task when they started the college to which 75% of the students gave
vote out of which 24 students voted very strong and 25 as somewhat strong whereas when
they were asked about the current ability to prioritize the task out of 77% of voters 46%
chose much better and 31% voted for somewhat better. On asking the impact of college on
shaping their ability to plan and prioritize task, out of 85% voted student 52% gave
significant positive impact whereas 33% gave somewhat positive impact. The next set of
question was on time management. the importance of analysing the completion time of work.
In this category 88% voted out of which 73% voted as very important while 15% voted as
somewhat important. Votes for ability of time management during the initiation of college
has been collected out of 65% voters 31% chose it to be very strong and 34% as somewhat
strong. 73% of voters on current ability of time management 36% chose to be much better
whereas 37% chose to be somewhat better. 54% of 80% voters gave significant positive
response while asked on the impact of college on time management and 26% voted somewhat
positive on this question. From question D and H it can be established that college has
provided positive impact on the student for the Planning/Prioritizing and Time Management.
85% of student gave positive response or somewhat positive response on the ability to plan

and prioritize task while 80% student gave positive response on their capability of time
management due to impact of college.
Based on the weakness and strengths, opportunities have been established that could add
value. On analysing time management as a whole, 65% were detected as very strong or
somewhat strong whereas 35% is very weak or somewhat weak. The questions related to time
management shows strong result with lowest count in question F. This means 35% of
Question F, either low or very low as to how to handle time was higher than other questions.
Evidence from survey to support statements
It was discovered from the SWOC that the students were optimistic in terms of
preparation, and that they also had positive attitudes with regard to priority and time
management. Overall, the college was found to be beneficial in improving the students
'ability to practice Planning, Prioritizing and Time Management.
Secondary Research
Work on best practices "refers to a structured method used to define, explain,
integrate and disseminate effective and efficient clinical and/or management approaches
developed and perfected by clinicians in practice. It involves five phases: creating a
conceptual model or sequence of phases, defining the "best" based on values and criteria,
identifying and evaluating potentially effective methods for each part or step, combining the
most effective methods and testing combined methods.
The objective of the current research by (Nasrullah & Khan, 2015). was to determine the
connection between the students 'time management skills and academic achievement. Time
management is very critical and may in turn influence the overall success and
accomplishments of individuals. All of these, however, are linked by how individuals handle
their time to match their everyday lives or make it flow with their routines steadily.
Conductive environments and atmosphere, besides getting good lectures given by their

teachers, would certainly encourage positive results for the students. It's important for the
students to shine a strong time management. Some of the graduates, however, do not have
strong time management skills that have adversely affected their life and academics. The use
of time in higher education institutions by the students is connected with their everyday
schedules and activities. Time management for students can also impact student stress rates
because they need to deal with their assignments and personal achievements. In this regard,
the data were collected from Qurtuba University of Science and Technology students to
examine how effectively they handle their time to meet their academic expectations.
According to (Gerrish, E. 2016 , p. 48-66) Performance-based management is
common in public organisations; numerous governments have introduced performance
management schemes in the aim of enhancing operational productivity . Nevertheless, their
effect has been rarely checked in detail. This article performs a meta-analysis on the effect
performance management has on public organizations performance. It contributes in three
ways to present-day literature. Firstly, it explores the impact of the performance management
program "normal."Second, it looks at management influence; if beneficial performance
management practices mitigate the average impact. Third it explores the influence of "time"
on the management of results. The study shows a low average impact of performance
management, using 2,188 results from 49 studies. Nevertheless, the effect is significantly
greater when metrics of best practices are used in high-quality studies — management
strategies have a direct impact on performance management systems effectiveness. Evidence
for the time effect is mixed.
Closing
Conclusions
From the survey analysis, it has been found that Conestoga college is highly
responsible for the improvement of time management and planning/prioritizing task among

the students. After SWOC analysisit has been found that initially the students were not
capable of managing time and prioritizing work. The survey response says 65% were capable
of managing time efficiently. Following that a secondary research has been done for value
added information about oppourtunity.
Recommendations
Time plus energy stands for research. Time on mission isn't a replacement. It is
important for students and professionals alike to learn to use one's time well. Students need
help learning to control the time effectively. Realistic time allocations mean efficient learning
for students and efficient instruction for instructors (Oettingen, Kappes, Guttenberg, &
Gollwitzer, 2015, p. 218-229).
Ideas for Implementation
 Teach students how much time they will spend studying for college.
 Expect students to be prompt in completing their assignments.
 Underscore the importance of daily practice, continuous operation, self-pacing,
preparation.
 Class split into timed segments to keep up with activities.
 Meet students who fall behind to chat about their study patterns, schedules.
 Don't hesitate to refer students on campus to professional learning skills.
 Using technology to offer students easy access to resources.
 Try using, where applicable, mastery learning, contract learning, and computer-
assisted teaching.

I submit herewith a proposal in support of a survey analysis done on the students of
Conestoga College on Proactive skills that they require in workplace. Based on the latest
survey answers on PLANNING / PRIORITIZING, 88% of voters chose a very positive
answer as to where to start the project, 75 % chose positive responses as to their ability to
plan and prioritize tasks, and 77 % of voters chose a positive response as to the current ability
to plan and prioritize tasks. As per the TIME MANAGEMENT survey responses, 88% of
student voters chose very positive answers as to how to estimate the time, 65% of voters
chose a positive answer as to how they would assess the ability to control their time, and 73%
of the answers were positive about current time management capabilities. The college has a
strong effect on Planning / Prioritization and Time Management students. The college helped
the ability of the student to schedule and organize activities, 85 % of the responses were
significant positive or somewhat positive impact, and it helped the ability of the student to
handle time, and 80 % had significant positive or somewhat positive effect.
65 % were really optimistic about handling time from the survey's study, 35 % of voters were
negative is still a major percentage. It can be said that the student will be interested in
studying best practices for TIME MANAGEMENT.Some of the questions related to Time
Management had good outcomes, question F Reporting was the lowest at 65 per cent. It
indicates that 35 percent of Question F was higher than most, neither or very low or quite
poor on how to handle time.
