INTRODUCTION
The young generation are the future of our nation. It is needed to provide with effective
educational facilities along with favourable environment. There are many hurdles that came
across the learning of students and one of the major obstacle is mental stress (Dalky and
Gharaibeh, 2019). It lowers down the productivity of the students and suffers with vital diseases.
The mental stress is directly aligned to lack of finance, sleeping disorder and many other health
related issues. This project report will cover the impact of mental stress on student's learning and
recommendations in order to minimise the adverse impact. In addition to that, it will also cover
suggestions that will help students in minimising the pressure of mental stress.
TASK
In today's world, every individual is suffering from mental stress related to finance,
poverty, deadlines pressure and many more. But mostly it impacts on student's learning. It
degrades the learning power of students and minimise their focus. Its become a part of their
academics as there are various internal and external expectations are placed on their shoulders.
By conducting a research it was found that fear of failure, personal adequacy and other
interpersonal difficulties are the main reasons of mental stress of student's learning. In the school
time, it is the place where often mental stress takes place. This stress leads to various diseases
such a anxiety, sleeping disorder and change in eating pattern. Academic performance also
affects the performance of students when they go in college. They are having the fear of failure
and to cope up with their class mates increases the pressure. By their academic results, they feel
themselves as inferior and starts overthinking. Many students cannot tolerate this pressure and
take wrong decision that eventually ends up their life and career. So it is needed to manage this
stress as it leads to declining the mental health and can lose the state of mind (Holder, Peterson,
Stephens and Crandall, 2019). It is very important for the students to deal with such issues and
manage their life by taking corrective decisions.

But in order to manage these stress, there are various techniques that can be used in order to
minimise the risk of mental stress. Following are some ways by which students can reduce their
mental stress and live their life happily.
Students should opt for healthy lifestyle and change their eating pattern. They should eat
healthy food that makes them fresh and agile. They should avoid eating junk that leads to
obesity. They must do regular exercise that keeps them fit and fine and it helps in
improving the mood.
The students should sets their task and should try to attain before meeting of deadlines.
They should prioritize their task as it allows to create a routine that helps in building
skills such as time management.
Apart from the studies, the students should find a new hobby that allows them to keep
motivating. The hobbies can be of any type such as gardening, drawing and reading
books. The student's life is very stressful and it is very important to develop a hobby so
that student can give their time on the things that they like.
The students should learn various skills that will helps them in managing their situations.
They can prepare themselves for any circumstances. There are various skills that students
can opt for such as critical thinking skill, leadership skill and communication skill (Zhai
and Du, 2020). This skill can be utilised in both academic career and professional life. By
these skills they can get the take effective decisions of their life.
The students should think and act positively towards any situation. This helps in getting
better thinking about the problem and can face easily. They should not think negative in
any situation or they will drive to the stress. This fills student's life with positivity and
can tackle any stressful situation.
