Academic goals are the educational objectives students set for themselves to evolve their
performance levels over time, based on their career interests and financial feasibility. There is
large focus by students on access to education along with dynamics of career to enter
competitive business world. This report explains short term goals and long term goals, by
analysing their implications along with benefits for students and methods through which students
can use to remember new information and how their performance levels can be evaluated. This

Importance of setting goals
Setting goals enable students to enhance their working standards by laying high emphasis
on focus by targeting their goals and quality performance standards (Burkhardt, 2020).
University students by setting goals develop their skills with high competency in studies
and enhance their knowledge standards of studies regarding various research topics.
Setting goals help students in universities to compete with high advanced skills, develop
their knowledge regarding theoretical aspects of work and how they can implement them
in their practical lives. Short term goals are set by students which are motivated by
professors support in classes of colleges and universities where they focus on reducing
weaknesses, reaching good results in next semester exams.
Setting goals enable students to represent themselves better in their studies at universities

people with strong hard skills of practical subjects, management principles and paves out ways to

Students should indulge in team discussions with class leaders of universities where there
is high exchange of new information related to subjects, projects and assignments where
