Study skills is define as the process which helps individual in learning and organizing
new information in order to use them in professional life (Kohyama, 2016). Basically study skills
are techniques which are learned within short duration of time which provide effective result in
most fields of study. Acquiring new skills and gaining hire qualification helps in boosting
confidence and provide support in working more effectively and efficiently in accomplishing
their goals and targets in life. It is a long term and individual process which enhance and develop
skills in a gradual way. Moreover it helps in managing time, improving spellings and building of
new learning strategies. The report is based on development of skills and habits of the
individuals. The topics covered in the report are importance of student success, additional habits
that student need and its importance in professional life.

a set of good habits. Here are few habits which helps in accomplishing success in life.
Set goals- The first habit which students should focus on is to become goal oriented. An
individual should be a habitual goal setter which has set the targets for himself to be
accomplished in the coming years. Success is the thing which cannot be achieved in few days
that is it take years for a person to become successful in life. By setting small goals and
following them in day to day practices helps in accomplishing the desire results that is with the
help of small steps one can able to achieve what they want. In today’s scenario there are large
number of men and women who are successful in their life that is because from the very bringing
if their career they known what they want to achieve. It took years to hold that position in life
and to make their name as brand name in the world of business. One should formulate the clear
goals and objective in their every day life and follow that in their daily habits. Moreover the
people who are able to get success are highly goal oriented. Furthermore setting goals and
following them gives individual ability to monitor themselves and improve in order to progress
and accomplish the desire goals.
Obsessed with self-development- Personal development is define as the process in
which set of activities are been performed by individuals which helps in improving their talents,
potential and confidence in order to achieve success in their life. Basically it is what one do in
order to make their life better and to achieve desire objectives. Individual who is able to work on

their personality they become result driven. It helps in developing the practice of learning new
things which helps in becoming better in those tasks which one perform. It also helps in time
management that is carrying or performing activities on the bases of priorities in order to use
your time in most valuable way. With the enhancement and improvement in the self-
development one become able to control themselves and stay motivated in their journey to
achieve their dreams (Galla and Duckworth, 2015).
Risk takers- In order to get successful in life one need to take risk at some points as it is
said if one who take risk they get its reward. There are many people who are able to become
successful in life because they have taken risks in their life as it is a key attribute to get success.
Furthermore taking risk with the motive to achieve desire objectives requires lot of courage in
order to face the uncertainties in life. In the process of risk taking the person don’t think about
the results but become more confident and able to formulate strategies according to the
conditions they face (Hill, 2019). The risk taking ability helps in understanding the situations in
better way where the chances increases to accomplish the future goals.

Dependency on alarm- As per the study it has been identified that the people who didn’t
able to get enough sleep are not happy and healthy in what they do in their daily routine. People
are more dependent on external alarms as they think they may get late in performing their
activities and work if they sleep more. But with proper sleep one remain much more active
whole day and performs their task in most desirable and effective manner.
Learn from your mistakes- One should develop the habit of learning from their
mistakes as it helps in improving the future performance. Learning from mistake reduce the
chances doing the same mistake again and again. Moreover it guide about the mistake that is
what has gone wrong and how can one improve it. Furthermore it helps in saving time and

focus on what is important rather than just performing the activities or tasks that comes on their
way (Covey and Covey, 2020).
Planning- On the off chance that you don't, you are going to carry on with a receptive
life by reacting to the conditions than being proactive and assume responsibility for the
conditions. Consider it, in the event that you don't design, you will never understand what you
have to complete. The key is to set your bearing and aim so you understand what you have to do
and can gain ground toward things that genuinely matter to you. Every extraordinary
achievement is made through a drawn out cycle, not a momentary run. Accordingly, achievement
