INTRODUCTION
While studying this semester, students have been able to gain various skills that have
helped them clear semester with good marks. Learnings from this semester will also assist
students in their higher studies and to effectively take future career decisions. Teachers have
helped students in improving their existing skills and provide them opportunity to voice their
opinions which makes them more confident (Clark, Harbaugh and Seider, 2019). In this
semester, students are given various opportunities and time to study as well as to learn the way
they like.
MAIN BODY
1. The core study skills I have found easy or difficult in this semester and explanation of why I
found these easy or difficult
So far this semester has been the best period of my college as it has provided me with
various skills that have helped me to evolve better in life. The teachers of my class have greatly
engage with everyone and motivate all students to learn better. I have able to develop several
skills that enables me to study as well as learn efficiently. One major skill I have been practising
throughout my life was time management as I was not good with dividing my time effectively. In
this semester, the teachers have helped me in practising time management as now I am able to
give proper attention to my studies as well as to my social life (Lechner, Miyamoto and Knopf,
2019). I have adopted the skill of effective learning and reading which helps me to understand
my subjects and its language constructively. I found some difficulty in adopting this skill as it
required long time and continuous improvement.
Teachers also conduct an activity to increase engagement between all the students of
class to develop communication skills. I found it slightly difficult to communicate with other
students because I have been an introvert and communication is not one of my abilities. But my
decision making skills have surely improved as now I choose better words, apply right
arguments and resources when writing my assignment. This has helped me in increasing my
academic performances. During this semester, my study skills have been developed slowly with
time and I have also managed to gain comprehensive knowledge of my subjects. I have started
looking for reliable sources to research about my projects to maintain my credibility in class
(Rosnes and Rossland, 2018). My teachers have developed a secure environment where each

students presents and discusses their ideas so we can be expressive as well as confident with our
thoughts. There are times when I faced several obstacles in completing my assignments, in those
situations my teacher have mentored and advised me to not get affected by small hurdles as these
will only add values to my experiences. This semester I have been able to develop several skills
which help me in upcoming semesters and in my higher studies.
2. Explanation of what I will do which will help me to study differently for remainder of this
semester
Though this semester have maximises my capabilities and enhances my skills, there is
still scope of my improvement which I can implement in rest of the semester. I will actively
participate in classroom activities to engage with other students of my batch. Memorization
things is one of my weak points, thus I will listen attentively to my teachers and will make
proper notes in order to enhance my memory. I am a visual learner as I remember things I see,
for a long time. I will strive to research about my project in video formats so I can learn and
write better than last semester. I will get more organised about my studies and will develop a
small group of circle who can help me to study difficult topics. I will work on my writing styles
by continuously practising different extracts from my subjects and projects. I will fully commit
to my studies and will do everything possible to improve my grades at the end of this semester. I
will enrol myself in various activities of classroom to remain motivated as well as confident and
to not fall for other distracting activities (Swank and Houseknecht, 2019). I will try to
understand and learn difficult topics which I did not study in first half of semester as I was not
very confident about my learning skills. I am not very good at multi-tasking with things at my
hand, thus I will try to learn while reading to save my time at time of examination. I will read
and write topics from my subjects several time to understand and memorize them properly. I will
properly manage my time of studies by implementing weekly reviews of my learnings, by
prioritize my assignments and not engaging in unnecessary activities. I will avoid procrastination
and submit my work on time in order to avoid late submission deductions. At the starting of this
semester, I get really overwhelmed with all the classroom activities, examinations and
assignments which creates unnecessary stress. This time I will make a time table of all the things
I need to do and allocate appropriate time to all areas to improve my academic performances. I
will make self discipline plans and track my daily progress to remain focus on my studies. Last
semester, I did not know the importance of sources and words while writing assignments which

leads to deduct my number. This time I will look for authentic and accurate sources as well as
work on my comprehension skills to improve my writing skills.
CONCLUSION
From the information presented above it has been concluded that developing various
skills is an important part in framing a student behaviour. By the end of this semester, students
will be able to work on their weak areas which will help to enhance their performances and will
further guides them in higher studies. Teachers adopt various measures of learning and reading
which students find easy to understand and learn. Academic learnings of students have been
increased by continuous improvement in their skills and behaviour.
