INTRODUCTION
Study skills basically define to those skills that helps learners in their educational life in
order to improve their educational background. It generally manages information along with it
retain in terms of helping learners in order to carry their work. as major study skills are generally
consisting of writing, listening, reading and so on. As these skills plays an essential role in terms
of education along with it also contributes in building corporate career of a student as well
(Gromova, 2021). This report is based on study skills for higher education of an education life of
student at university level. This report includes identification of skills that are needed by students
in order to be successful at university level along with a reason that why they are important in
workplace, recommendations that are required by students for improving their content of CV
along with its conclusion.
MAIN BODY
Identification of skills that are required by learner students to be successful at university as
well as along with a reason that why they are essential in workplace.
As in order to maintain position in universities student should have certain skills in an
efficient way so that they could be capable to keep their profile in universe universities in a well
format so that their career could be improved (Ratten and Jones, 2021). In relation to student’s
point of view there are some of the skills that are to be present in every student for maintaining
its sustainability in higher situations in order to carry their higher studies. As some of the skills
that are needed by students are as follows:
Communication skills: As it is considered to be most effective skills that are to be present
essentially in each student. As communication skills benefits learner in order to interact with
other individuals in an effective way so that their ideas as well as messages could be conveyed in
a proper manna without having any confusion (Hayati, Juanengsih and Fadlilah, 2021. As
communication skills are considered to be essential for every student in order to interact with
other individuals in their workplace so that they could be capable to communicate well without
having any hesitation and it could develop their college life along with their professional
development in terms of gathering along with various components.
Interpersonal skills: As these skills generally benefits students in terms of facilitating a
systematic communication as well as listening in relation to social interactions. As for

maintaining their survival in higher institution it is necessary for learners to generate their social
connections in order to generate their self-esteem (Stokes, Priharjo and Urquhart, 2021). In
workplace interpersonal skills also helps students in generating interconnection with different
societies as well as other individuals. As these skills helps in creating a valuable relationship in
in higher universities so that their grades could be improved along with their performance.
Self-care skills: These skills are essential for student to perform their self-care so that they
could be able to focus on various things which are to be covered in college life along with
professional life as well. And self-care are generally continuous activities that are to be
performed in a readily manner so that their operations could be carried in a well manner. It is
also sometimes referred to be activities of daily living which is carried by student in order to
build their development. As these skills include developing a constant sleep routine, motivating
for having a healthy diet and other activities that could be able to perform with a self-care
manner.
Time management skills: As for every student managing their time is very crucial activity
but it is essential for them to have success in their educational life. As learners has various things
as well as activities in their university level which are to be performed by them in a timely
manner in terms of taking class as well as giving a participation in different programs so that
their capability could be improved in terms of getting more jobs (Froehlich, Siebrits and Kotze,
2021). Among these activities time management is a very challengeable task for every student.
For that effective time management skills are to be essentially present in every student so that
they could carry their educational life as well as work life in an effective manner as well as they
could private rise their task according to their efficiency and relevance. As when they are able to
manage their time effectively they could be able to carry various opportunities as well as boost
up their career in a well manner. There are various time management skills like delegation,
decision making, prioritising as well as goal setting that could be able to manage their time in
their corporate career.
Stress management skills: As these skills are necessary for every student to have in order to
deal with University as well as higher education pressure. Higher education generally involves
with various activities as well as exams and sometimes student get stressed due to fast going of
activities. So it is essential in order to manage their stress Life by adapting different techniques
as well as activities that could benefit student in order to get relief from their stress level. And

there are various tools which helps in assisting in order to overcome from stress like changing
condition as well as changing reaction about any situation along with coming down to any
situation that could lead to have any situation. So effective stress management support help
students to break out their stress that could affect their life so they could be able to have happier
as well as healthy life. Objective of stress management skills is to have a balanced life of student
along with managing their time assessment that could be able to have resilience with the
surveillance in order to help in meeting various challenges.
Presentation skills: As these skills are said to be essential skills which should be present in
each student in order to provide effective presentations for having their development. As for
having effective education in different institutions it generally requires presentations that are to
be represented by their students for evaluating their presentation level skills of how effectively
they could be able to present their idea in front of wide audience (Cóndor-Herrera and Ramos-
Galarza, 2021). As these skills are said to be essential for student for surviving as a presentation
skill helps them to build their confidence level so that they could face wide audience without
being hesitated. As if learners have effective presentation skills they could be able to provide
effective communication by transferring their ideas in terms of speaking so that more individuals
could be influenced by them in terms of their ideas so that their corporate life could be carried
better.
Six recommendations which are required students in order to enhance their content of
CVs.
A CV has a capability to make as well as give a good impression in the desired field. As a
top class as well as attractive CV help student in lifting their chance of getting interview for
building their career. It generally carries information about student’s life and their qualification
that could be represented in a well manner (Hambali, Mirizon and Heryana, 2021). As content of
CV as well as presentation should be attractive so that various interviewer be attracted towards
them as well as in terms of assessing their position. There are some of points which could be
used in order to enhance CV that are as follows:
Personal profile: As there is no difficult as well as fast rule to add up their point of their CV
but it could be useful for having effective way in terms of summarising characteristics of
students along with their area of expertise in which they want to work.

Personal details: As an effective CV of a student should carry personal detail by showing
their learning as well as growth results to that students required to introduce themselves with
more effectiveness in front of interviewer. As they could at their name, address, date of birth,
phone number and other personal details which they want to address in their CV for making their
profile effective.
Skills: As in order to make CV of student it effective it is necessary for them to mention
their skills which they have learnt during their educational life so that their judgement could be
passed about their skill as well as they could be recognised on basis of their skills in terms of
having a job opportunity (Çetin, 2021).
Employment history: As it is necessary for every student to mention their present along with
last employee work in their CV. As backward student it should consist of their name of company
along with date of joining as well as job title and many other things which they want to address
to be mentioned in CV so that they could be able to you considered them in their experience of a
student so that interviewer could find a relatable job opportunity according to their interest
(García-Pérez, García-Garnica and Olmedo-Moreno, 2021).
Education as well as qualification level: As in order to make CV of student effective it is
necessary for every student to mention their educational background along with their
qualification as their educational history that could consist of secondary education followed by
graduation along with post-graduation qualification by grades which are obtained by them so that
interviewer could be find it easy for having evaluation of educational qualification of a student

there is no such rule in order to present in their document as student could always go through
